"Thank you so much Quinn!" Rochelle said as she gently laid her hand on top of Quinn's. Although sick with guilt, she felt it had been a genuine moment between her and Rochelle. She had not had one since she moved in, and for the first time, she could see humanity in her eyes. Pulling away as Hudson walked in, Rochelle ignored his presence and carried the cake out towards the pool.
"I see you are beginning to bond."
"It is really odd though...I feel guilty..." She confessed as he placed his hand on her cheek.
"I told you, we aren't doing anything wrong."
"Then why does it feel like it?"
"It's okay to feel naughty sometimes..." He drew his finger along her shoulder, tracing her exposed skin until coming up just behind her ear. "You know...It has been almost two weeks since we were last together..."
"And it's Roderick's birthday-"
"He won't miss us for ten minutes."
"Ten minutes? I have never been only ten minutes." He said defensively as she chuckled.
"Play your cards right and maybe I will allow you to stop by the pool house...but it's too risky."
"Isn't that partially what makes it fun?"
"It's what makes it dangerous."
With a mess of presents in her hands, Quinn moved from the kitchen and towards the pool. At least five other kids of Roderick's age ran around and jumped in the water, several commenting on Olivia's bikini. For a moment, Quinn chuckled to herself, remember the times of first crushes and liking boys for the first time.
The party progressed at a normal pace as snacks were set out before cake was served and then it was time for presents. Roderick was placed in a makeshift throne that was just a painted lawn chair cut to the length of his legs with fake fur by the arms. At least thirteen were sitting around him as he did not waste time in opening them. Quinn watched by as she caught Hudson's gaze over the heads of the other children. Biting her bottom lip, he ran his fingers through his slowly turning salt and pepper hair.
Unable to take the feeling, she hid towards the pool house, leaning against the structure with a wine cooler in her grasp.
"You truly look beautiful."
"Thank you...but we should-" She went to walk back, but he had stopped her. Placing his hands softly on her hips, he slowly shook his head.
"For two weeks, I have watched you bite that bottom lip and tease me in those short skirts. You know you drive me crazy and you marvel in the idea..." Sliding his hand up her leg, she hit it away.
"Not here..."
"Do you really want me to stop?" He asked just as his fingers lid between her thighs. Instantly, she felt as though she had been electrocuted. His voice became lower in her ear as he spoke of the things he would do to her in extreme detail. Closing her eyes and her lips slightly agape, she had gripped his shirt to stay quiet, but found there was little to no use. Just before completion, he pulled away-leaving her with a glare. "I ask again, do you want me to stop?"
Her brow cocked slightly upward as she attacked his belt, moving his pants free just enough to expose himself to her. Teasing him for a moment in her hand, he lifted her leg up so he could gain a better angle. Placing himself inside, she took a sharp gasp as her lips slightly opened with desire. He kissed her, taking her bottom lip between his teeth and sucking on it.
"So sweet..." He said upon ceasing the kiss for a moment. She pulled him in harder then expected-with his lips pressing deep against hers. Their tongues battling back and forth, he then brought his fingers to her neck and placed it up, setting his palm over her mouth. As she let out groans into his hand, he smirked and rested his head against the wall behind her as he continued to thrust viciously against her. Her hands pulled at his shirt as her final moans were released.
"Dammit...you make me desire you in ways I never thought possible..." He said out of breath as he placed himself back together and zipped his jeans up.
"You are a very impatient man."
"Very." He said as he gently grabbed her face and pulled her in for a deep kiss. Leaving her breathless as he moved back to the party as if nothing had happened. Returning to the festivities herself, she saw how he had been a true father to Roderick and Olivia. For a moment, she could not envision herself as a step-mother, but then she thought of her life without Hudson-and could not conjure a proper situation that made sense. Nothing could without him.
