Dropping the kids off at practice, Hudson then adjusted his rear view mirror so he could then look to Quinn. He was mesmerized with the way she appeared so innocent, yet screamed to be tainted. He craved the feeling of another kiss and yearned for not only her gaze, but her touch. Lingering with his gaze, he was desperate for her to look at him, and yet, her sight was straight out the window.
"Can you drop me off at the pharmacy? I have to pick up some more inhalers for Roderick." She then turned towards Quinn in the back who was playing with a strand of her hair. "Would you two mind getting dinner tonight? Any place is fine-just something filling."
"Sure." Hudson said with a smirk as he made his way to the desired locations.
"You can come sit up by me." He spoke to Quinn as he pulled away from the pharmacy. She threw her shoes on the floorboard of the passenger side and slid her way into the seat as he smirked. Placing his hand over hers that was placed on the cusp of her knee, he gently squeezed her fingers.
"I am dying to kiss you."
Her cheeks became vivacious with a red blush as he pulled into a fast food drive thru and ordered something for everyone. Turning to her, he then got her order before continuing to drive. Taking a turn he never had before, Quinn looked at him with a confused gaze before he explained on the way;
"When I was a little boy, my dad used to take me on these trails and there would be the most beautiful wildflowers along the path. I would always be devastated when I picked it because it would die usually within a few hours. But each time we went, I went back and continued to pick them-just waiting for another result. Praying and hoping this time would be different." He continued before she could comment. "When I got older, he then took me to this one old cottage that used to be there. Now all that's left are a few beams were birds usually sit. It's where I also took Olivia when she was younger and actually liked things other than Facebook and Instagram."
Quinn smiled. "It seems like a very special place."
"It is." He said as he now interlaced their fingers. Pulling into a parking lot, he moved quickly to her side and shut her door for her as they moved further ahead. Not breaking their fingers, they continued until coming to a structure that appeared to be purposely torn away. The wood that was left had been rotten and a small bird's nest sat at quite a height above it.
"Why did you want to bring me here-"
Pulling her towards him, he rested his back against a tree as he pressed his lips to hers.
"I had to kiss you, but I didn't want to be seen by anyone."
"We can't be gone too long-and the food would get gross if we don't keep the air on."
"I swear I can never kiss you long enough..." He spoke, tearing her gaze away from the fear of rotten food. To her surprise, he lifted her into his embrace and then set her on the hood of the car. Wearing a long sleeved shirt that surpassed her arms in a pirate-like style, he lifted up the fabric before kissing her stomach and sliding his fingers up her shirt.
"I'm sorry..." She said as she sat up. "I just feel guilty..."
"What for? We aren't doing anything wrong."
"We are in the middle of the woods just to kiss-"
"Well I had to kiss you soon or I was going to burst with frustration. I don't think you understand your effect on me, Miss Quinn."
"What effect is that?" She spoke flirtatiously back.
"When you are so uninterested in what is directly in front of you, and you desire to be somewhere or maybe even someone else."
"I don't want to be anyone else...I just cannot look at you without getting this idiotic smile that pulls me away from myself and it scares me."
Placing his hands on her legs, he gave her a kind smile.
"With any relationship, there is a risk of losing that feeling of butterflies and admiration-even tolerance and patience. But if it is the right person, it is worth that risk." He placed his hand on her cheek. "And you, Quinn...are the perfect person."
She gave a touched expression as his phone went off and her lips were upon his neck. With one hand on the phone and the other leaning on the car, she pulled his collar from his neck and began kissing his skin-even being cruel enough to tease him with a bite. Trying to keep a calm and relaxed voice, he faltered several times as her actions were too strong to ignore.
"We are on our way. Yep. Just a long line of cars."
Hanging up the phone, he placed it beside Quinn before pulling her quickly against him.
"I am going to have to teach you a lesson on being respectful-"
She pulled him in for a deep kiss as he then returned the kisses to her neck. Allowing themselves to fall into each other's embraces, they then reluctantly got back into the car-Quinn taking the seat in back, as they spoke of desiring one another all the way to the pharmacy. Upon picking up Rochelle, they had then acted as if they were nothing more then acquaintances.
