The World's Mask
The world's mask is beginning to crumble
Revealing the poison behind fields of green
Harvested by morals we continue to fumble
Displayed by backlash on the shattered screen
The world's colors are beginning to fade
Blue skies withdraw as the darkness looms
Stripping away personalities in order to invade
Broken minds gathered in the living room
The world's voices are becoming silent
Overpowered by insults brought to light
Casting the weak into a shadow so violent
That not even their thoughts can win the fight
The world's society is silently dying
Wars are waged with guns and vowels
Our streets are paved by bodies, children are crying
We hear negativity over society's final howl
The world has become so negative these days
Too bad the world doesn't hear what I have to say
