In times of fear, when the world is dark,
Be not afraid, for within you's a spark.
It will burn bright in times so dim.
Do not despair, for the light will win.
In times of weakness, in a world gone wrong,
When doing what's right, won't make you belong,
Holdfast, my friend, stand your ground,
I will stand with you, our strengths, unbound.
In times of doubt, in a world unbelieving,
They'll tear down your faith, you question your being,
Worry not, beloved, the answer is in you,
It's inside your heart, untainted and true.
In times of hatred, in a loveless world,
When the warmest of hearts succumb to the cold,
Be not afraid, take my hand.
Together we shall make a stand.
For love, though little, is but like a word,
Speak it to one, it will spread through the world.
Be not afraid, you are never alone.
I am with you, though the world is gone,
Hand in hand, walk by me.
I will walk with you, through eternity.
