It had hair on its lower arm and its jaw and two big horns jutting out the side of its head. There were different lines on its body and they glowed a blue tinge. Its rows of razor sharp teeth glinted with a dangerous gleam and black spots were beginning to block my vision as I felt myself sag a little, but Kyra held unto me and pulled me upwards to the surface. I took a deep breath and filled my lungs with air as my vision cleared. The massive beast had followed us up but now, it had company. It looked at each of us intensely and when it looked at my eyes, it felt like he was gazing into my soul. I forced the lump that formed in my throat down as it looked away. The two seemed to communicate and the second one looked at me.
"Hello," it said with a somewhat feminine voice. Her tentacles were red and her body was covered in intricate red designs. She had horns on her forehead arranged like a crown and two long tentacles came out from the back of her head. She had long pointed fingers with which she held a long rod on her right arm.
"It's good to finally meet you Princess Alastair. It's good to finally meet you." She said with a small bow. I turned to Eke and she nodded at me.
"The pleasure is mine... "
"Call me Zina." She completed for me as she stretched one of her tentacles to me and put it over my head. She made a bubble and made it cover my head.
"Don't worry it won't hurt you. It would make you breath underwater." She said as she did the same for the rest then she went down and we followed her as she kept talking.
"I'm sure you're wondering how I know you. Well words travel fast in this kingdom. Though we were beginning to think you wouldn't show up to help us." My thoughts drifted to the article I read earlier. 'Unexpected help'. She led us into the caves and we kept swimming as we entered the dark caves, the lines on their bodies glowed brighter illuminating the way. It opened to dome shaped room and in the middle, there was a big bubble like the one we had over our heads
"I'm the Queen of the Kraken's, and this is Zohar my younger brother. He was on guard duty when he saw you and alerted me. I didn't want to bring too much attention so I came on my own." We kept swimming towards a hole in the ceiling and I looked back to look at Vince. He seemed to be doing fine. Soon enough, we burst at the surface of the water.
"None of the royal guards dare come here. We have shown a few of them things that others would not dare experience." She said as she help all six of us out of the water and burst the bubbles.
"If you need our help, we'll always be ready." She smiled at us as she touched my forehead with her index finger. Nothing happened but as she removed her hand, it was like I knew everything about her and everything she knew. I saw a bright light flash and at that moment I could see everything in her head. I heard screaming but I didn't know who was screaming. I heard someone ask "What did you do to her?" but the piercing scream was giving me a migraine. As the flashing images slowed to a stop, I realized the scream was mine. I stopped screaming as my heartbeats gradually slowed down. Somehow I was on the ground and my clothes were dirty. Vincent helped me up his forehead creased in a frown.

"Are you okay?" he asked holding my head in both his hands. They were cold and I shivered slightly.
"I'm fine." I said removing his hand from my face and I turned to look at Zina, but she was nowhere in sight.
"Where is Zina?" I asked warily.
"She went back in the water. Are you alright?" Yael asked looking concerned.
"I'm ok." I sighed resting my head on my knees as I tried to get a hold of myself.
"What did she do to you?" Carla said coming towards me.
"She...um...I think she showed me everything she knew. About Astra, the war, everything that I didn’t already know." I said talking mostly to myself than them.
"C'mon guys, let's go before it becomes dark." Eke said as we all reluctantly trudged behind her, dripping wet.
As Queen Zina had shared her memories with me, I knew Astra Falls better now. The pond we came out from was at the edge of the palace grounds, and we still had a long way to go since there was a thick forest between us and the castle, and that was going to be the most dangerous part of the journey seeing different creatures were going to try to protect the castle and the royal family. I just wasn't sure what would come out of the forest to confront us.
