David turned into the room and walked over to kneel in front of the woman on the bed. Alma just looked up at him, she lifted her head from her hands and smiled at him tiredly. She was at least half within her suit, the arms of it were lifelessly sitting by her side. "Are you ready?" David asked simply, it was clear she wasn't. She didn't even look remotely ready, let alone physically.

"David, I'm scared." She whispered as if it was some big secret. "Those things, even in a holographic form were...they were so...no one likes being woken up from a sleep, I'll go with that instead; what if this guy's super pissed at us lot flocking around him?" Alma questioned while looking to him for some form of reassurance. He just sighed, stood and sat next to her, she watched him even when he just sat with his hands in his lap looking thoughtful.

"I suppose it is only natural to be afraid. People are fearful of things they don't understand."

Alma just looked at him, David blinked and slowly looked down at her. "Are you scared?"

"I can't really feel fear." He reminded her simply. "Now come on, everyone is waiting."

Alma watched him stand and turn expectedly to her. She sighed and stood, picking up the arms of her suit, she slipped her arms in. Pulling her suit up and over her vest she slowly zipped it up to her chin and smiled thinly. "Think this guy will honestly help Peter Weyland out?"

David smirked, "I think you and I have the same answer to that question, even if you won't voice it."

She inhaled deeply only to shut her eyes and hang her head. "No."

"There we go." He placed a hand on her shoulder, she looked up at him with a frown. Not liking the fact that he took some sort of amusement from this all.

"I think he'll be disappointed." Alma said while looking up at him, she pulled at the tight sleeves and made sure that they were tucked into the gloves she quickly pulled on. David tilted his head curiously, "I think Elizabeth is right, this...all of this, it isn't what we thought. And...and I don't foresee a happy ending here." Alma said quietly, her voice growing quieter each time. David placed a hand under her chin and made her look up at him. Blinking quickly a few times she eventually focussed on him, he simply nodded, smiled lightly and leaned down to kiss her on the forehead.

"We can't keep them waiting much longer, Alma." David said quietly, and somewhat reluctantly. A part of him would much rather keep her away from the sleeping Engineer; she was right, they had no idea how this man would react, did he have good intentions or bad? He may have gone to sleep with an agenda in mind, having been woken up he may presume he was still following through with that. Seeing that he would be in the same place as he went to sleep, maybe it wasn't good. Maybe the reaction wouldn't be good. But on the other hand: he could be confronted with the beings which he supposedly had a hand in creating, distant relative and all that, even if there was a minor species gap.

The two of them walked along the corridor in silence, Alma was left to her thoughts which revolved mainly around being rather fearful, and David glanced at her from time to time wondering really if she'd turn up, only to be told she wasn't needed and would have to stay here. Regardless they eventually walked into the departure room, Alma walked over to where Elizabeth seemed to be struggling, she was sitting breathing deeply, clearly in pain. She placed a hand on her shoulder, "How're you holding up? I know that seems stupid of me to ask."

Elizabeth nodded her head slowly and managed to shift to a slightly comfier seated position. "I'm okay," which was clearly a lie but she was just trying to put on a brave face. She didn't want to offend the other woman who was only showing concern. Alma had been there through that horrible experience, she had helped her there, during, and after to a small extent.
