Many humans want the Empress's wings for power to fulfill their own selfish needs. Her wings can cause the world's destruction if it has been in the wrong hands. The person who seeks the Empress's wings must attempt to rip them off clean from her back. A Vampdragum having their wings ripped off causes them horrible pain and depression. That is one of the main reasons why the Queen is heavily protected most of the time. If anyone does succeed in stealing her wings, they would be haunted down and put to death if ordered by the Empress herself.
