Vampdragums have a humanity level considering the fact that they are not fully human. This works like a scale or monitor of some sort, the Vampdragums must keep balance between the two. Think of their levels as a heart rate monitor like the picture above. When a Vampdragum has his/her humanity, it beeps normally. If the humanity levels drop low, the beeping will flat line. Allow me to use an example: Let's say a female Vampdragum is with her mate, and she's being sexually aroused, that is when she will start feeling her humanity levels drop and become more wild than usual. This goes for all Vampdragums, including the sweet innocent ones.
When the humanity level is dropped at a increasing rate the Vampdragum will become more crazy, wild, sexual, aggressive, and (for only psychos) killers. Their eyes will turn black and their wings will droop for a minute or two before flapping dangerously. Which leads me to signs that a Vampdragum has lost his/her humanity and people should avoid him/her:
1. Black eyes
2. Wings flapping dangerously/ aggressively
3. Changes in behavior
4. Baring fangs at other Vampdragums
5. Trying to start a fight
6. Craving blood
These are six signs that should let everyone know to stay clear of a Vampdragum when the humanity level drops. If they don't, who knows? Maybe good things will happen, maybe bad? It all depends on the type of person the Vampdragum is.
