[ Alice's POV]

Dec 14 1879

I ran, not looking back and not stopping for a break, if I did that they would catch me.

I look down at my ripped dress and tattered tights, reminding me of my home, my family. Footsteps up ahead brought me back to reality, I knew for a fact they didn't belong to the men following me; they were silent.

I stretched my mind pushing it to whomever was there, so focused in concentration I didn't realize there was someone in front of me till I crashed into them.

"Oh goddess, I'm terribly sorry. Are you alright?" I asked brushing some of the dirt of my dress. "Oh yes I am quite alright, if you don't mind me asking but why exactly are you out at this time?" I could feel his eyes on me. He's dangerous, I know it . "Oh ya know just on a walk." I looked up at him and forgot how to breath. He had midnight black hair, and golden eyes that seemed to be looking at my soul. he wore a butlers uniform with a tailcoat and white gloves. A demon? Remembering how to breath I smirked. "What seems to amuse you Miss Alice?" I staggered. He knows who you are, run while you still can. A voice said in my head. shut up. I told it. "Ya know what? Alice is too boring, I'll call you kitten." He walked toward me.

"Now, now Claude don't scare her she's important." A new voice said behind me. "Get her."

All around me I saw dark figures coming toward me. Next thing I saw was black.
