[Alice's POV]
~Backstory~

When I opened my eyes it was black, except for the small amount of light coming from a candle. "Ah, your awake." Said a calm male voice. "You've been sleeping for quite some time."
What the hell is he talking about, I don't remember what happened. I have to find my family!
"Poor, poor child." The man walked toward me, slowly. "Thinks, she can run off and hide."
He grabbed my face and started to slap me, I bit my tounge to keep from crying out.
"Yes, helpless child, in for a rude awakening." He cackled in delight and pulled a kinfe from a box by my feet.
"I wonder, where should I start?" He looked me up and down. "Ah, I know! The legs, can't have you leaving now can we?"
I giggled under my breath as he was the one getting a rude awakening.
"Let's start with the left leg, shall we?" He traced the knife down my left leg about four times and when nothing happened he looked at me in frustrated anger.
"What did you do? I was told you were perfect nothing wrong and perfectly innocent."
I simply smiled at his stupidity. I, Alice Phantomhive, was known best for my artificial leg. Which I had received when I lost my original one, in a carriage crash when I was three.
"Bah!! I'll figure it out, somehow." He stood. "Until then, you are not to leave this room. Or I will have you killed immediately, understand?"
I nodded.
"Good, well excuse me then." He walked to a closed door, opened it and left.
"Idiot." I look at around at my surroundings.
Hm, let's see what looks useful? Oh, that dagger does, and that red cape might help hide who I am. I smiled, my mother always told me I was a fighter, but I never really thought about it. Now I know what she means. I sighed and struggled against the bonds holding me to a chair. Darn my lack of strength and resourcefulness.
"Are you having a bit of trouble there Kitten?"
I growled. That man from earlier!
"I can get you out of there. For a price, of course." Out of the cornor of my eye, I saw him walked toward me.
"A price?"
