Chapter 20~ Hatred

[Alice's POV]

I  woke up with Ciel leaning over me with a bored expression. "Finally you're awake." He sighed. "Now you can take the idiot and leave."
"Grell?" I asked.
"What? No Eric."
"Excuse me!" I scrambled to my feet. "Eric is here?"
"Well duh. I wouldn't interfere with your work." He gestured toward the window. "Sebastian is outside with him and he will watch you just in case he's as abusive as I've heard."
"Wait. I'm going with him?" I glanced out the window and saw Eric and Sebastian standing.
"Yes, he wouldn't leave if I didn't say you could go." He walked toward his desk. "But Sebastian will be watching so nothing will happen and if something does." He stopped knowing I got the message.
"I can take care of myself." I tucked a few needles under my sleeve.
"I know." He sighed. "I'm just being cautious."
"I know." I whispered.
We stood in silence until a soft knock on the door told me it was time.
"Come in." Ciel sat at his desk pretending to work.
"My lord, it is time for lady Alice to leave." Sebastian said while opening the door.
"Of course." He looked at me and we had a silent agreement; I was going to deal with Eric on my own.
"Well goodbye then." I walked toward the door to take my leave.
"Alice." Ciel stopped me.
"Yes?" I turned and smiled.
"You have one hour." He then looked down and started on the rest of his paperwork.
"See you then I guess." I giggled and walked out the door, winking at a very surprised Sebastian.

[Eric's POV]

I waited for what seemed like forever until Alice walked out the door, smiling sweetly. Now that's the smile I've missed. I thought to myself.
"Well hello Alice, its been quite a while." I smiled and walked toward her.
"It sure has." She simply said.
I embraced her in a hug and she tensed when I whispered. "Just so you know, that demon won't be following us or else. Got it?"
She pulled back a grinned. "Of course not, Eric.
She then skipped toward the carriage and then I knew something was up. What did that brat tell her? I shook my head and followed her. Ready to put my plan into action.

~magical time skip to twenty minutes later~WOOSH!

(Still Eric's POV)
We were walking around town, when a certain person caught my eye. A neko with dark red hair and rosy pink eyes was walking in the same direction as us. There is no way its just a coincidence. I hurried my steps pulling Alice along into an alleyway. "Hey will you cut it out, we are not in a hurry." Alice looked very annoyed.
"Deal with it and keep walking." I continued to push her along.
"No." She stopped and crossed her arms.
The sound of a slap echoed throughout the alleyway. She stood there in shock.
"Now, let's go." I pulled her to a door in the back of the alley.
I knocked three times and waited for the door to be opened. "Ah master Eric, your back."
