Alice's POV
I ran with Elena, rushing towards Morgan. She was in trouble. Then why did I have a bad feeling?
"You sense it too, My Lady?" Elena shook me from my thoughts.
"Sense what?" I asked.
"The bad feeling about this situation." She said simply.
"Oh, then yes. Something just doesn't feel right," I dodged a group of people in the street, getting a few weird looks "it just seems like this isn't going to go well."
"I completely agree with you My Lady. However, despite your bad feeling, your friend is in danger. Besides, we can take on what ever they throw at us." She glanced over and smiled.
I smiled back. "Alright. But I'm checking the perimeter for spells."
"Of course." She returned her focus to the streets of London.
"Hey watch where you're going!" Shouted a police man as I doged past him.
"Sorry!" I shouted as I knocked a woman in a fancy lace dress onto the ground.
Damn, we can't move fast enough with these crowds. I thought as I looked around for another alternative. We could get to higher ground....but that would require finding a way up there.
Then it clicked. I'm Alice Phantomhive, London's assassin. People will move if the Yard is involved. I grinned.
"Something amusing about running through the busy streets of London, My Lady?" Elena smiled.
"Nope. But I've got an idea." I stopped running and closed my eyes. Searching for a certain person. The one I had been hunting before I got caught up in this mess. Jonathan Lipnicki. He works for my client but they think he's plotting against her.
"Bingo." My blood red cap materialized onto my shoulders and the hood covered my face. I changed into a different outfit. One many people will recognize. Black boots replaced my high heels and a shirt and pants replaced my dress. "Let's kill someone."
Elena smiled and disappeared, off to create a distraction. Just like the old days.
"Dad!!!" She called out in his daughter's voice.
"Hailey? Hailey where are you!" He cried through the busy streets.Jonathan's POV
I looked around frantically for my daughter.
"Hailey!" I shouted again.
If I didn't find her we couldn't leave the city. We have to leave. Now.
"Come towards my voice!" She called again. "Hurry!!"
I pushed through the crowd of people toward a dark ally. Where I heard Hailey's voice. I ran, this was not a good place to be alone. Although, I feared she wasn't alone.
I turned the corner to see Hailey asleep in a tall woman's arms. The woman looked up and smiled at me, then glanced behind me.
I looked back to see another person in a cape pulled low over their eyes.
"Hello Jonathan." They said before everything went black.
However, not the black as in unconscious, I mean the black at in dark.
I looked around in fear, I feel as though I know the person in red. I should know them.
"You did a very bad thing Jonathan. And I was sent to punish you for it." A gust of wind behind me made me jump.
"W-who are you?" I shivered. "P-please don't hurt Hailey."
"Oh don't worry, we won't hurt her, just you." A bright flash of light burned my eyes.
When I looked back the one in red was in front of me, hood down.
"A-Alice!!" I stepped back and tripped.Third Person POV
"You made the mistake of running." With that she raised her sword and sliced downward.
Alice looked toward the mouth of the ally and to her delight saw almost the entire Yard staring at her and Elena in fear.
"Take her to Ciel." Alice ordered Elena. "I'll take care of Morgan."
She nodded and gently lifted the child up and disappeared.Alice's POV
I grinned madly and took off racing towards the building Morgan was trapped in.
I glanced behind me to see the Yard climbing onto horses and into carriages. Idiots, it would be way easier too follow me on foot. However I was counting on them to do that, otherwise the streets wouldn't clear as fast. The building came into view and I laughed to myself a little. Having The Yard here would be good because then I'll be able to get back at Eric. I turned around to face Sir Randal.
"Good Afternoon, Sir Randal!" I said cheerfully.
"You're supposed to be dead..." he shook in his shoes.
"Oh? Am I? Sorry about that." I giggled. His head shot up and he raised his gun, his men following. "Oh Sir Randal, you know that won't work." I chided
He fired.Morgan's POV
I sat nervously in the chair I was tied to, I couldn't bring myself to look at Grelle and Will. However, from my past training with Lilith my instincts told me that Grelle was unconscious and Will has a broken ankle.
"Well!" Eric's voice shook me from my thoughts.
I closed my eyes sensing Alice nearby. "She's here."
"Wonderful." Eric grinned, but no humor could be found. Only evil.
