Chapter 29 ~ Almost

Morgan's POV

I tapped my foot, waiting for the perfect opportunity to jump out of this chair and kill everyone in sight!
Oh, who am I kidding. Alice would never do that, she would plan an amazing and dramatic escape!
"Don't bother trying to escape, my beloved escaped once and since then we have secured our defenses." Eric. "Funny, she was around nine when it happened too."
//in Morgan's head// " Morgan! It is William,  I am coming to help. Stay put and try to keep them talking. Please, just stay alive."
"Nine, eh? Well I suppose you'll have to deal with sixteen." I chuckled.
"Oh no. You're not escaping, it's impossible. And I plan on keeping it that way, especially for when Alice gets here." //cue evil laugh//
"This is gonna be a long day." I sighed.
"It certainly will be, reaper." Alex laughed.

William's POV

"Grell, hurry it up or Morgan will suffer." I said jumping to another rooftop.
"Sorry, if I dont want to fall. These heels make me look a-m-zing!"
"I really don't care." I focussed my eyes forward again, scanning our surroundings.
Damn, this is harder then I thought.
"Will dear, does that building look familiar to you? Or is it just me?" Grelle shook me from my thoughts.
I looked where she was pointing and saw the building from the description, the mage (Midnight) had given us. "Come on."
I jumped down from the building I was on and walked toward a window.
I peered in and saw Morgan tied to a chair tapping her foot impatiently.
"Oh there she is but," Grelle squinted her eyes "someone else is there."
"Clearly," I stepped away from the window to analyze the warehouse, "follow me."
I walked around to the back of the warehouse. "My theory was correct."
"What theory?"
I sighed. "You see, I saw someone in black come from this area before, however the front door is armed with a trap so they couldn't have gone through the front........ You're not even listening."
"Well, sometimes you are quite boring Will." Grelle said analyzing her nails.
"Come on." I walked toward the back door and to my excitement the door was unlocked.
"I knew someone would come to save the shinigami." Whispered a voice.

Lilth's POV

"What do you mean no?" I tried walking toward the man but Alice stopped me. "You shot him through the head!"
"That can't kill anyone!" She stopped thinking about what she said. "Well any normal human that is."
"I don't even know the defentition of normal anymore." I shook my head.
"I never learned it! Now what do we do with this?" She pointed at the man.
"Well since he's not dead, we could tie him up." I looked at the sky and paced, thinking.
"I'm not sure that would work anymore. Lilith run." She poked my arm.
"Now, now don't try to scare me. It won't work." I said brushing away her hand.
"I'm not trying to scare you." She poked me again.
"Uh huh."
"You might want to listen to the little lady, angel." Said a raspy voice from......... I swallowed......from where the 'dead' man should have laid.
