[Alice's POV]
June 16 1886
I peer over the edge of the building thinking of possible escape routes. "Come on now child, come with us don't make this any worse for you." a gruff voice said to my left.
I heard his footsteps coming toward me, I pulled three needles out of my bag and created a barrier between us." Don't come any closer." I growled.
" Uh....Sir Arthur we might have a problem." I glanced at who had spoken, a man in his late twenties was standing next to a elevenish year old boy. "Sir Arthur, I demand to see the assassin. Now!" the boy shouted.
They're distracted, run. that voice was starting to annoy me, but it was right. putting away my needles and using their argument as a distraction I turned and jumped of the building and into a hay cart below. "Sebastian! After her!"
I take off running down the street my cape flowing behind me.
A flash of sliver streaks past my head and impales itself into the wall. A knife? I start to slow down, who on earth could throw a knife with that kind of accuracy? I wondered.
[Ciel's POV]
I made my way off the building roof and to the ground. Bloody hell, where could they have gone? I wondered. I looked around until I saw the hay cart she had landed in, they must have gone that way, I thought. I took off, running towards -hopefully- my butler and the assassin.
[Alice's POV]
That boy, I thought, I know who his is but i just can't put my finger on it.
I ran into a dead end with someone trailing behind me, I opened a portal to one of my safe houses and walked in, hearing a gasp I smirked and turned around. Seeing the boy again made my brain hurt like I was missing some memories or something .
Seeing as they weren't going to kill me I decide to make things more dramatic.
"This kitten has claws.' I turned and closed the portal. Safe at last.
