[Midnight's POV]
Flashback~
I sat down at one of the tables in the cafeteria, today was adoption day. Some kids will be leaving and some will stay. I sat alone, clutching a small cat toy. I didn't have many friends, in fact I don't think I have any. The clock chimed one and adults started pouring in, walking through the rows of tables deciding who is a best fit for their family. Out of the two hundred some people, one family caught my eye, a man, a woman, and three children, two girls and one boy. I looked up and saw the man glance over at me and wince a bit, I couldn't blame him, my yellow cat eyes were unnerving. "Well Vincent your choosing." the woman said.
"That was not our agreement Rachel. Remember we're not here to adopt,we are here to donate to the orphanage?" The man turned around. "We were only here to see the kind of children that live here."
"Oh of course." The woman looked down. "Well then let us see the headmistress."
I watched them walk off and clutched my toy, any family that came toward me quickly veered away when they saw my eyes.
That night after everyone had gone to bed I grabbed my packed bag and ran toward an open window, earlier that day I had made sure that a cart of hay was under the window. I looked back at the other sleeping children and jumped not caring about where I was going to go.
End of Flashback~
I sighed, and sat back from cleaning the floors. My goddess this manor is huge! (Luckily I've got some.........well tricks up my sleeve.) I glanced behind me and noticed that figures were moving in the window, then a huge flash of white made me stand, I recognized that light. I smiled. Alice is here. I reached into a invisible quiver and pulled out three arrows, i grabbed my bow, opened a portal to the roof and jumped into it.
"Midnight, what are you doing here?" Sebastian asked, while taking out some knives.
"Well I saw the light and figured I should help." I offered.
"If you want to help then go after the girl, her name is-------"
"Alice." I interrupted. "Yeah I know her."
"Go." He continued to fight Alex, Alice's familiar.
I stood on the edge of the roof and concentrated, Alice opened a portal here...........She went to..........The forest! I opened another portal and jumped in, ready to face my friend.

that is the 11th chapter, sorry these past few chapters have taken so long, i've been really busy and now its winter break so ill have more time yay! love you guys.
