Aarumugath thambiran on his return to his hometown, with the treasure given by the Almighty, constructed a temple similar to Palani Dhandayuthapaani temple and worshipped him daily. As said by Lord Murugan, he took his hoping Kavadi to this temple itself. Thiruthangal was graced by Lord Murugan's temple and Thaipoosam celebrations especially Aarumugath thambiran's one leg hoping Kavadi.
