Aarumugath Thambiran's clan are called Kaavadi koota vagaiyarakal. The Sama Pandhi Bhojanam (Annadhanam) started by Aarumugath Thambiran is carried out by them in co-operation with his faithful adiyars and village people, in his Samadhi premises for two days from Thaipoosam. Paal kudam, Kaavadis were dedicated by lot of devotees to Thiruthangal Lord Dhandayuthapani. The day next to Thaipoosam, Aarumugath Thambiran's Guru Pooja is conducted every year. The Samadhi mandapam has his hagiography depicted as embossed colour paintings on the walls. A pyramid is also installed which enhances the power of this Jeevasamadhi. Lots of people come to this JeevaSamadhi on full moon and new moon days to get the grace of Aarumugath Thambiran. All are cordially invited to the Thaipoosam Annadhanam festival to get the blessings of Aarumugath Thambiran.
