"You're a bitch," I declared, walking past him into my apartment.

"And you're bleeding," Jax responded, rolling his eyes at my anger.

"You did that on purpose," I accused, glaring at him as I reached for the first aid kit. I also grabbed a bottle of vodka for sterilization.

"Just thought that you'd like to know that your little friend is working with my father to murder you," he shrugged, taking the bottle of vodka from me.

"Gee, thanks," I scowled, opening my first aid kit. Jax stopped my shaky hands with his own, causing me to look up at him.

"Let me," he said, grabbing the soft cotton and bandages. His fingers brushed against my neck softly, slipping my shirt off of my injured shoulder. As his bare skin touched mine, I sucked in a heavy breath, closing my eyes, causing him to chuckle softly.

"I haven't even done anything yet," he whispered into my ear, his breath fanning against my ear.

"Jax," I breathed out, meaning it to come out as a warning. I could feel his fingers stiffen momentarily at my reply, but loosened almost immediately.

"Adrianna," he mocked, and I could tell that his lips were curling into a smirk, but something sounded uneasy in his voice.

He grabbed the alcohol, pouring it on my wound slowly, before quickly pressing the cotton against it. Then, he carefully wrapped the bandage around my wound, and slipped my shirt back over my shoulder.

Before he moved away though, he leaned forward, pressing his lips gently against my neck, sending a deep tingle down my spine. I suppressed a shudder as he disappeared from behind me. I heard the door close lightly and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

My fingers lightly touched my neck, where his lips had been seconds before, and I shook my head in disapproval.

Come on, Adrianna. You can't let him win.
