With the moon high in the sky, the wind turned to gust, and Dytria soon began to feel the cold. It was so realistic, that Dytria soon began to shiver. He rubbed his arms together to keep warmth, as he read in the instructions that the cold can lead to frostbite, meaning you could even die from something as simple, that no other game adds.

The realism was a good attribute, but right now it was awful for Dytria, as he need to stay warm and safe. Knowing that there would be many more creatures and enemies, hiding and waiting to attack the very next thing that passed them, made it harder for Dytria to stay focussed, as every now and again a howl was heard, making the darkness, never silent.

While looking down the other side of the mountain, Dytria prepared his hand, arms and legs for the descent down. Without the light of day, the difficulty of scaling down the mountain had increased immensely, this making it much harder for Dytria to stay put. With a slight shiver in his movements, Dytria lowered his legs over the edge and slowly slid down until his hands were the only thing gripping onto the edge.

Each step down was difficult as there was always the chance of his foothold being faulty and the rocks falling out from beneath himself. Dytria focussed more effort into his hands to keep steady, and to make sure not to fall. With his first glance down, he then realised how high up he was, and knew that if he fell then he would die, but he figured, that if this game could recreate the coldness and blisters, then death can't be to far from the real thing as well.

Dytria didn't look down once after that, and kept his eyes and mind focussed on his feet and hands.

Dytria placed his hand quickly onto a loose rock, knowing it would fall, but quickly placed his other hand into another gap in the rocks to hold himself up. He was completely exhausted and by looking up the mountain, he'd only come down about half way, with still at huge drop below him.

Dytria kept climbing down, his hands had started hurting again, and now his arms and legs had began to hurt as well, from the strain of having to hold on and keep himself up. He could barely make his way down, as his arms and legs hurt to much, he'd used to much energy and felt so tired.

On his next step down, Dytria felt his hands slip. He knew what was coming but had no time to react has he started to fall down, scraping his entire self against the rocks along the way down. The horrible sense of falling wouldn't leave him as he seemed to keep falling, whether it was how high he'd been or how tired he was he just wanted it to stop.

When he finally came to a stop at the bottom of the mountain, Dytria groaned. The pain was to much, he could feel bruises forming and cuts running up his arms and his leg. Dytria fumbled around in the dark till he found the mountain side again, with a groan and a lot of his energy he pushed himself up onto his feet. The cuts and bruises along his legs hurt so much more as he stood on his feet. Dytria knew he couldn't stay here very long though, so he took small painful steps in a random direction, staying close to mountain.

Dytria kept walking along in the dark, with his sword unsheathed and in his hand, he knew the difficulty of defeating any creature right at this moment would nearly be impossible, but he had to at least try so he kept his arm raised up in a protective manner.

While walking and keeping his hand along the mountain, it soon seemed to disappear and his hand couldn't find the mountain again. He felt around for a bit and tried to find it, until he realised it was some sort of cave. The mountains wall, stretched in and became a cave, but the depth could be any length.

The cave was Dytria's only shelter, even if there was a chance of being monsters hidden inside the cave, it was his best chance to get some rest, and heal a bit.

Dytria walked inside, till he thought he was deep enough to hide from everything outside, then he dropped his sword on the ground and sat down along with it. At least when he was off his feet, it didn't hurt to much as it didn't involve much moving.

After sitting down, Dytria looked through his inventory for any healing potions, but didn't find any as he hadn't had time to buy them in that last village he was in, so only waiting for a while would heal this. His health regeneration was also quite low as he hadn't really focussed on that aspect, and he hadn't thought he would need it, but he guessed this is just fate being cruel, as he sat there in the dark, thinking of his next move.
