You were in your room, listening to your parents arguing down stairs. If you actually lived in a house with good walls, you'd be fine but, you live in a crappy apartment with terrible walls. "... I wish I could get away ..." You hid your face in a pillow in hopes to get rid of the noise. 'MAKE IT STOP! I NEVER WANTED THIS! MAKE IT STOOOP!' You suddenly got an idea and hopped off your bed, grabbing your bag and filling it with some clothes and a pair of flats, you opened the window and jumped down.
You started to run towards the town's oldest tree. It was located on a large hill where it was said to be a place where friends truly belong. You panted when you got to the top and sat against the tree. "Look Night!" You gasped and jumped up, seeing two skeletons who almost looked like princes.

"I think you scared her Dream." The one in black clothing said calmly, you sighed and picked up your bag. "Wait! Dont go!" You looked back at the one in gold and blue clothing. "I'm Dream! And this is my brother Nightmare or just Night!" "I'm (y/n). It's nice to meet you..." Night saw you looked like you've been crying for some time. "Are you ok? You look upset." Your head perked up as you sighed. "It's a LOOONG story..."
- Explaining later -
"We're so sorry..." Dream said as you all sat near the tree. Night looked at Dream and tapped his chin in thought. "I have an idea!" Night suddenly exclaimed, you tilted your head at him climbing the tree and coming down with an ice blue apple.
"This apple will change you to look like us!" Night explained, you sighed and asked "What about my parents?" "That's the best part! As soon as you eat this, they'll forget you! Everyone will! It will be like you never existed!" Dream said while handing you the apple. You had tears of joy going down your eyes as you took a bite, it tasted like wild berry.
You felt yourself changing as Dream and Night smiled, when you looked at your hands, you had gloves like Dream, except they were orange.

You hugged both Dream and Night as tears slipped from your eye sockets.
