Chapter 4: The Journey to Cinnabar Island

Red's POV:

     A week of school went by and before I knew it, we were going to Cinnabar Island tomorrow. I dreaded for this week. I'm excited to go, but I hope nothing bad happens to me about Green. I didn't even glance at him this whole week. I stayed with Crystal in that class, hoping that Green wouldn't talk to me. Yellow and Blue were spending the night with me tonight. They wanted to make sure that I had the best wardrobe to impress Green. But I'm pretty sure they just wanted to see my Mom. Silver said he would arrive at my house that morning, along with Gold and Green. Silver said Blue owed him big time for making him go with Gold. It's pretty funny actually, I feel bad for the guy.

     It was about 5:00 when we woke up the next morning. We all met up at my house and headed for the boat that would take us to Cinnabar Island. "Silveyyy! Am I going to see you shirtless this weekend?" Gold asked Silver while hugging him. "Get off me." He replied. "You're no fun, Silvey." Gold pouted. I glanced at Green and luckily he didn't notice. Maybe he forgot about what he said to me.

     We got on the ferry and sailed off to our destination. It was starting to get bright out, the Wingull were flying along the ship. I decided to take out all of my Pokémon. I have 6 total: Pikachu, Espeon, Snorlax, Charmeleon, Wartortle, and Ivysaur. I got Espeon and Snorlax from my dad, and I caught the others in the forest near my house. "You have 6 Pokémon? That's pretty impressive." Silver said to me. "Yeah, I caught 4 of them on my own. We're great friends." I explained. "All I have in a Sneasel, Croconaw, and Murkrow. How did yours' evolve so mu-" "Silveyyy!! Where are you!?" Gold shouted. Silver sighed and turned around towards Gold. "Come eat breakfast with me!" Before Silver could react, Gold was dragging him towards the restaurant. I chuckled to myself, hoping that Gold wouldn't drive Silver into madness. I turned around to look at the ocean and didn't even hear Green come up to me. "It's pretty funny how Gold acts around Silver. He is pretty chill when it's just us hanging out." Green chuckled. I couldn't breathe when he was taking to me. All I could do was look at him and smile. I was frozen.

"Wh-when did you get here?" I asked nervously. "I was following Gold before he drug Silver off." I looked away from Green. I was panicking like a mad man in the inside. I noticed that he was still looking at me, as if he was studying me. "What do you plan on doing now that Silver is gone?" he asked. What was I gonna do? Blue and Yellow were getting pedicures. "Um, I don't know, maybe just watch the ocean." I replied. "That's lame. How about we go play a game of volleyball?" He asked with a smile. He wants me to play volleyball with him?! I'm not good at sports! He's gonna think I'm pathetic! "Oh uh, sure." I answered. Green led me to the court to play a game. He was extremely good. I, however, was garbage. I don't have much muscle and Green was well toned. I noticed how big his calf muscles were. Luckily, he didn't say anything about how bad I was. "You don't play this often, huh Red?" He asked while smiling. "No, I don't play any sports." I explained. "That's alright. I had a blast playing against you." He said while walking towards me. I felt like I was suffocating again. I need to stop acting like this, I'm making it too obvious. He gave me a pat on the back. I felt electricity shooting through me. "Red! There you are! We're about to reach the port!" Yellow yelled. I quickly walked towards her to get away from Green.

We got off the boat and took a short bus ride to the condos we were staying at. Luckily, Yellow's dad owned the the company that ran the condos. We got the nicest rooms in the building. Yellow and Blue were of course sharing a room, Silver and I shared another, and Gold and Green shared a room. "What! I don't get to be with Silvey! That's not fair!" Gold whined. "I'm not sharing a room with you." Silver said sternly. Gold pouted and went into his own room. Silver and I went into our's and got unpacked. "You must not like Gold huh?" I asked. "He wouldn't be so bad if he didn't complain and call me 'Silvey'." He explained. "You don't care about the other stuff?" I asked. "Not really, I don't mind him touching me and wanting to be with me." He replied. "Do you like Gold?" I asked. "I guess I do. He just acts too much like a child." Well that's funny to hear, I thought Silver couldn't stand him. I finished packing and went to watch some tv. There wasn't anything good on, eventually, Silver joined me. "Red! Silver! It's time to go eat lunch!" Blue exclaimed while barging into our room. "You could have knocked." Silver said while rolling his eyes. "I don't have to. Come on. Everyone is waiting on us." She replied.

We went to a small restaurant across the street from the condos. It was Rapidash themed. "Silvey! Come sit next to me!" Gold exclaimed. Silver him a death glare and eventually sat next to him. The only other seat was next to Green. Great. Now I'm going to be a wreck right next to him. "Hey Red!" He greeted. "Hi." I quietly said back. My face immediately flushed. "Okay, Blue and I already have everything scheduled for this weekend. After lunch, we're gonna into town and go shopping!" Yellow said excitedly. "Who let you decide?" Green asked. "Since I got us in here for free, Blue and I get to pick." She said matter of factly. Green rolled his eyes and stirred his drink with his straw. "Tomorrow, we're going to the beach, and then were going out to eat dinner. And on Sunday, were going to go sightseeing and leave the island at 7." She continued. "That sounds awesome! I can't wait to spend the whole day tomorrow with my Silvey!" Gold said while hugging Silver. I couldn't help but snort. Green followed by laughing. Silver instantly glared at us. "Get off me." He said while prying Gold off of him. After lunch, we went into town and shopping for what felt like hours. Blue, Yellow and Gold were having a blast trying on clothes and taking pictures in silly hats. Green and Silver looked completely disinterested. I was having fun, but I was ready to leave after 2 hours. I looked around a store to get Mom something. I found a seashell with a turquoise starfish in the middle of it. "Who is that for?" Green asked. He startled me, again. "It's for my mom." I replied. "That's so sweet Red!" He said. I was nervous once again, I quickly went and paid for the gift and went to find the others. Gold said he was hungry so we went to a sandwich shop to eat. I looked at my phone and saw it was 6. We were shopping for 5 hours! Geez, I didn't know it took that long for girls, and Gold, to look at clothes. We finished eating and returned to the condos. Blue specifically told us to dress in our Alolan shirts and to meet her on the beach.
