Chapter 8: The Ultimate Plan

Green's POV:

I wanted to tell Silver and Red why Gold was acting different. But it would ruin our plan.

Flashback To Last Night:

     When I got back from the beach, Gold was in a pissy mood. "Why doesn't Silver like me!?" He cried. "I know why." I answered. "What!? How?! Tell me right now!" He shouted while tugging on my arm. "Chill out. Red told me that Silver does actually like you, he doesn't like being called Silvey and says you're too immature." I explained. "Silver likes me?!" "Yup, hey, I have an idea. Since he likes you, why don't we break his cold exterior." Gold looked at me dumbstruck. "What do you mean, Silver doesn't feel cold?" I should've known he wouldn't get it. It's the same kid who was happy about getting straight D's. "I mean, let's break him. Be completely different towards him and don't call him Silvey." I explained. "So, don't act like myself?" He asked. "You don't even act like yourself around him! Act like how you are around everyone else." I said. Gold had on his thinking face. "I can do that! I'll make him want me!" Gold said as he entered the bathroom. I shook my head, Gold is an idiot. I got ready for bed and laid down. I regretted not telling Red. Red is so cute. I love how nervous he is around me and puts up with Yellow and Blue. They're a handful. I also love how he got his mom a gift. I need to ask him out when we get back.

End Of Flashback:

Red's POV:

We left the volcano in time to catch the ferry back to Pallet Town. The ride was boring, Silver was irritated that Gold wasn't irritating him. "I can't stand this. I didn't know that I liked him teasing me!" Silver exclaimed. "Just tell him." I replied. "I already told you why. Green is an asshole for not telling me why since he knows. Go ask your boyfriend why." "He's not my boyfriend." I said with a blush. After, we saw the others head towards us with ice cream cones. "Hey Red, why didn't you join us for ice cream?" Gold asked without even looking at Silver. Silver must have been losing his shit in his mind right now. I didn't know that they went to go get ice cream. I just shrugged my shoulders. The captain announced that we have made it back. We got off the ferry and went back to our houses.

"Red! You're home!" Mom said while hugging me. "Hi Mom, I got you something." I said as I pulled out the seashell. "Oh Red, it's beautiful! Thank you so much!" She said as she hugged me again. "How was your weekend?" She asked. "It was great, I have a huge crush on one of the people that went with us." I explained. I hoped she would ask who since she doesn't know that I'm gay. I didn't know until this school year! "Really? This is huge! Who is it?" Crap, she asked me. I guess I have to tell her. "Well um, his name is Green." I answered quietly. "That's wonderful sweetie!"she exclaimed. "Wait, you aren't upset that I like a guy?" I asked surprised. "Of course not. I already knew you were gay. Why else would I let you have 2 girls spend the night with you? You didn't pay them any attention haha." She answered. She has a point. I continued to tell her everything that has happened and went off to bed. I let out all my Pokémon to sleep with me. I was excited to go to school tomorrow morning.

     I arrived at school and sat down in my statuses class. I didn't pay attention in class since I was still thinking about this past weekend. Mostly about Green. I can't wait to see him in 6th period. When lunch arrived, Yellow, Blue and I mostly talked about Gold and Silver. "They're destined for each other! We need to set them up!" Blue exclaimed. "Since we basically got Red and Green together, we can totally get them to!" Yellow said. "Silver told me he does like Gold, he just doesn't want to hurt his pride." I explained. "Silver has been acting weird, he wouldn't come out of his room yesterday when we got back." Blue said. "Silver is upset that Gold won't acknowledge him. It's frustrating him a lot." I added. "Maybe we should confront Gold about it." Yellow suggested. "You should ask him, Yellow. He'll think I'm up to something if I or Red asks. He might have a plan!" Blue stated. "We need to get them together. There's no way Silver would invite Gold over. It will hurt his manliness." Yellow said. "We need to at least ask him first. After school tomorrow, you need to ask him why he is acting different. And if he asks if Silver put you up to this, just tell him that you are genuinely concerned and put on your cute face." Blue ordered Yellow. "Do I need to do anything?" I asked. "Not yet, since I live with Silver, I'll talk to him about it. All that you need to do is get Green to ask you out!" Blue said. I blushed when she said that. The bell for lunch to end rang and we went to our classes. Thank god 6th period is about to start, I've missed Green.

     I walked into class and took my seat next to Crystal. I was telling her about my weekend and didn't even notice that Green sat next to me. How am I never noticing him? "Hey Red, what's your cell phone number?" He asked. I gave him my number. I can't believe that Yellow or Blue hasn't already given it to him. "I need to talk to you about something after school." He explained. This made me nervous, yet excited. Is he gonna tell me good news, or bad news? "Here Red, take my number!" Crystal said as she shoved a piece of paper in my face.
