"I told you not to hurt her!" I heard a loud, booming voice over the slight ringing in my ears.

"She was being resistant!" This voice was more of a plead, a cry. He was afraid of something, of someone.

"I don't care! I said unharmed! No one wants damaged goods!" The first voice yelled and I flinched when I heard more gunshots.

"Sir, she's awake." I heard a new voice and I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to get up. Only I couldn't.

I felt like my arms and legs were tied, and at this point, thought I don't want to, I really do believe they are. I wouldn't doubt it. They were numb, immobile, and pulled at an awkward angle.

"Is she?" I heard that first voice. It was cold, icy even. I couldn't help but shake slightly in fear and confusion as I felt eyes on me.

"Look at me." I heard that third voice speak, but I shook my head. A rough, large hand gripped my jaw, and suddenly the first voice spoke up again.

"Unharmed!" He snapped and the hand was removed just as quick as it was there. I gulped and forced my eyes open, looking up at two males.

One had brown eyes, but the warm color was cold and hard. His salt and pepper beard matched his hair, and he wore a well fitted, all black suit. He seemed almost expressionless, and looked like a business man. Only... what kind of business did he run?

The other has a mask on, blue eyes hiding behind them. The person had more of a masculine frame and voice, so I only assumed it was a guy.

"Is your name Jennifer Reed?" The man with brown eyes asked me, an accent to his voice. A type of Spanish accent maybe? If I wasn't paranoid, and too busy trying to remember distinct features of him to tell police officers, I probably wouldn't have even been able to pin point it.

"Y-Yes." I stammered and I heard a gun lock and load. "What are you going to do to me?" I asked and the masked one yanked me off of the chair I was on.

My heart raced as I saw a man lying on the ground, blood spilling from his mouth and a hole in the middle of his forehead. His eyes were wide open, and I flinched away in fear. I looked anywhere else as they led me out of the room. "What do you want from me? I haven't done anything!" I begged, squirming in his grip.

"Sir-"

"If you lay a finger on the girl, I will kill you." The man with a beard said, and my blood ran cold. "Don't you dare. Take her to the car out back. If I hear about a single added bruise on her, I'll shoot you without hesitation. Would you like to test me?

"No sir. Yes sir."

I assumed the older man was his boss, and I couldn't help but be overly afraid of him with the new added 'knowledge'. The power he may, or may not, have frightened me.

"Why am I here?" I whimpered, only to be ignored. Neither of them even so much as batted an eyelash at me.

People around us just glanced for a second, looking away immediately. None of them cared. No one called the police, or asked them what's happening. Not a single questiom or concern. It made me wonder if this was a normal occurance - if they normally shot schools up and kidnapped highschool students.

I looked down at my feet, the short amount of rope between my legs allowing me to walk, but cutting circulation off from my feet. The same deal was happening with my arms.

"Please... Please if anything... the girl you separated me from... is she okay?" I spoke up towards the masked man and he looked at me with aggritation. "Please." I begged.
