Chapter 13:

I woke up and showered quickly then after I brushed my teeth and what not I put on leggings, a white wife beater, my letterman jacket and a pair combat boots. I threw my hair up in a pony tail after I straightened it then I dressed Nattalia and gave her a bottle. I brought Isaac to school even though I thought he should wait but he was hell bent on going. I dropped Nattalia off at Deaton's and went grocery shopping.

I was in the breakfast isle which was empty with the exception of me and this woman who was staring at me. I finally decided to take a whiff and I growled out of instinct; she was a werewolf! What the hell man! She stalked towards me and the lights flickered a little bit; great, setting the scene for a freaking horror movie!

"Hello" she smiled, but I could tell she wasn't being friendly.

"What the hell do you want?" I growled and she flashed her alpha eyes at me.

"Oh come on! I just want to know where the lamb hearts are. I love raw lamb hearts; they are so bloody and innocent." She extended her claws and examined them.

"Not all lambs are innocent," I growled.

"Show me your eyes little lamb," she taunted me.

I grabbed what I needed then turned around and started walking. I heard her approach me and I whipped my cart around and whammed it into her sending her flying.

"I'm one lamb you don't want to mess with," I growled.

I checked out then went back to the loft and put everything away then when I was done I decided to snoop around the school and see what I could find out about these twin alphas. I couldn't even find out there names so that's how I knew something was up. I hung out in Coach's office and when he walked in he almost had a heart attack.

"Hey Coach!" I took a bite out of an apple I had bought earlier and looked at my nails as I was eating.

"What the hell, McCall!? You damn neared killed me!" He clutched his chest and I just chuckled; boy Derek is rubbing off on me and I can't tell if that is good or bad at this point.

"Figured I'd come early and chill. I hope you don't mind, but I didn't exactly want to sign in and deal with that snotty receptionist."

"Oh no no, I don't mind at all. So Lahey's back."

"Yup." I said popping the 'p'.

"Well, that's good. I don't need my players getting fat during the off season!" Coach shouted and I flinched from how loud he was and I thought he was loud when I was human!

Coach and I went outside and waited for the guys to get out of the locker room. When everyone was out on the field Coach introduced me although most of the guys knew me.

"Uh boys, this is my assistant coach Connor McCall. She was the first and only girl on the lacrosse team and guys track team."

"A girl lacrosse player? What did you wear a tutu and dance around the field?!" Some young guy said; I chuckled and slowly walked over to him and got in his face.

"What grade are you in, asswipe?" I asked him softly.

"I'm a freshman," he said and I nodded once slowly.

"Not only was I the only female player, but I was also co-captain alongside my brother Scott McCall. I could, if I wanted to, make you run an extra five laps, but I think I'll make you run an extra ten." I shoved the kid backwards and he slid in the mud.
