Chapter 15:

        The next two days went by quickly and I spent most of my time at my mom's place with Nattalia. I was playing with Nattalia and Derek called me.

        "Hey," I answered.

        "Hey, I need you and Nattalia to get out of Beacon Hills tonight."

        "Is everything okay?"

        "Yeah, I just don't want to take any chances."

        "Alright well, I'll stop by in a few minutes to get some things and so you can see Nattalia before we leave?"

        "Is there anyone there with you?"

        "No, it's just Nattalia and I. Derek you are really freaking me out."

        "Peter is on his way right now, okay? Don't leave until he is there."

        "Alright I'll see you soon?" I said then he hung up; funny how we used to say I love you 24/7 and now we hardly say it all.

        About twenty minutes later there was a knock at the door and Peter and I went to the loft and Derek had all of the stuff I needed ready.

"Why do you want me to leave town?"

        "I just don't think it's a good idea for you to be in Beacon Hills when there is an alpha pack and sacrifices going on."

        "Right," I said.

        I handed him Nattalia and he held her for a few minutes then gave her a kiss on the cheek. Peter took Nattalia into the other room to give us a moment alone. I stared at Derek for what seemed like forever then he came close to me and embraced me. He inhaled my scent then began kissing my neck and throat. When his lips touched mine it felt like he was cutting this unseen tie; it was like he was saying good bye.

                  "You're wearing the bracelet," he said then picked up my wrist and fiddled with the charm on my bracelet.

        "Yeah, I guess I needed to be reminded of the good ol' days." I sniffed as a few tears fell.

        "I know I haven't said it lately but, I love you and I love Nattalia so much."

        "I love you Derek Hale, I always have and I won't ever stop." I gasped.

        "You shouldn't love me," he looked down and I tilted his chin up then got on my toes and I kissed him.

        I looked him straight in the eyes.

        "I shouldn't, but I do; now what does that tell you?"

        "I don't know," he laughed.

        "I love what I shouldn't because sometimes what you shouldn't love needs someone to love them."

        "You need to go now, goodbye." I hugged him once more than Peter drove me back to my mom's house and watched me drive away.

         I drove to my dad's and I let myself in because he wasn't home. Hours later my dad came home and we ordered dinner.

        "Don't get me wrong, I am very glad that you are here, but uh why are you here exactly?" my dad asked.

        "Well, I needed to get out of Beacon Hills for a little bit," I said.

        "So there's a serial killer in Beacon Hills?"
