Chapter 30: Part 2:

        "I guess they are gonna have to burn with you," Derek said and I thrashed in my chair wildly.

        "You son of a bitch!!!!! When I get my hands on you I am going to fucking destroy you!!!!!!" I screeched.

        "You know it was Kate that did that, not me." Chris said as he looked at me.

        "You're a hunter and so is your daughter- Oh I can't forget about Connor. You must pay for what she did."

        "You know what we do to train our children? We tie them up similar to this and we wait for them to break free," Chris said then he flipped his chair on its back and broke free. Derek jumped over the desk and shifted then growled in his face. Chris had a gun pointed underneath Derek's chin and I felt tears forming. "Don't make me do this Derek." Derek collapsed and I screamed.

        "Derek!!!!"

        "I think he's okay, he just fainted Connor."

        "That nogitsune is going to suffer by my hands," I growled.

        Chris left Derek on the floor and proceeded to help me out of my chains. I walked over to Derek and woke him up.

        "Connor?" he mumbled and I kissed him.

        "Save it for the bedroom, you two." Chris groaned and I laughed while the tears escaped my eyes.

        "It's not you," I breathed a sigh of relief and Derek looked at me.

        "What'd you say?" Chris asked me.

        "Nothing!"

        "What did you say Connor," Chris asked me once again.

        "It's nothing," I gasped.

        "Whatever it is Connor, you need to tell us."

        "I I can't."

        "Connor!!"

        "The nogitsune! I think it's targeting me!!" I was gasping for air and I realized I was having a panic attack. "I- can't- breathe!!!!"

        "Help me!" Derek growled at Chris as he tried to help me.

        "She's having a panic attack, you have to get her to stop breathing."

        "How do I do that?!"

        "Kiss her?!" Chris screamed then Derek kissed me and soon I was back to normal.

        "Who exactly told you that the nojitsune is targeting you?" Chris asked me.

        "He did," I swallowed.

        "What did he say exactly?" Derek asked me.

        "He kept saying that someone was going to die. Nattalia, you, Demi, Riley, everyone but myself. Deaton said that Scott and I are connected somehow and when he made that sacrifice it affected me as well. I don't know what happened, but I think that it correlates to Lydia, to Stiles, hell maybe even Peter."

        "I don't understand?" Chris said.

        "When Peter was killed he had managed to make Lydia hallucinate, Stiles couldn't tell if he was dreaming or not."

        "Bardo," Derek whispered and looked at me with worried eyes.

        "The state between life and death," Chris translated.
