"Your family.", Amnael laughed and pushed himself out of his throne, "Suddenly you care about them."

"This isn't anything personal between you and me. This is only about Gabriel and me. He's using you because he thinks I wouldn't kill you." I stepped closer to him while glacing at the doors for a second to look out for demons. No one there.

"Oh, don't worry, he doesn't know that you are my father and he doesn't care about you. I heard you are just in his way." He laughed. "But come on. Go ahead. Try to kill me."

"It doesn't matter if he knows. All this is part of his plan, besides you killed my friends." I said pointing my sword at him, but his expression didn't change. He was so sure I wouldn't kill him.
But I gripped my sword thightly and swang it.

But it didn't hit anything.
He was gone.

"I didn't kill all of your 'friends'." Amnael's voice roared through the hall. I spun around to see him stand in the middle off the room with a sword in his hand and a demon on his knees, Amnael's sword pressed to the throat and held in place at the hair.

"Impossible," I whispered to myself as I saw my friend who I thought to be dead - Winter. She was alive but she looked exhausted; weak.

When I didn't say anything toward Amnael he continued: "One or two of them survived the cuts, but I got rid of the rest except for this one. You seemed to like her too much and I figured it could be helpful."

"Let her go." I insisted, stepping closer to them. Winter was tense and tried to get away from my son, but he was too strong and easily kept her in place.

Amnael looked coldly at me, "I will let her go, but only if you give up. Drop your sword."

Giving up? No. I'm not letting Gabriel win this fight after all. I looked at Winter and she shook her head, telling me she would rather die. But I dropped me sword. Not because I gave up, but because of the sudden occurrence of a certain demon in the room which Amnael hadn't noticed yet.

I slowly walked closer to Amnael while he dropped Winter to the ground. "She'll go back to earth and you'll never bother her again." I spoke and stopped in front of my son.

"Very well." He agreed and pushed me on my knees. My glance drifted from him to the spot where Weeron was standing earlier. Of course Amnael noticed that something was off and turned around to look for the intruder, but he was gone.

This time he was playing in my hands. Weeron appeared right beside me while Amnael was distracted and handed me the archangel sword he had picked up just seconds earlier. It didn't go unnoticed by Amnael but he wasn't fast enough. My sword was already stuck in him when he noticed what as going on. He stumbled back and feel to the ground while black liquid was running out of his mouth and his wound.

"Keeping Winter alive was a clever trick," I got up from my knees and Weeron helped Winter, "but you can't outplay an archangel."

Amnael's face was filled with pain but he still had the strength to speak. "And you can't kill the devil."
His eyes turned red and all in sudden the sword started to glow. It went brighter and brighter until it seemed to melt. Amnael rose to his feet and the sword was gone. Destroyed.

Weeron glanced at me. Neither of us knew what to do. We had to get out but he was probably the only one of us strong enough to teleport at the moment. Go, I mouthed. I needed them to get out - this was family business. "No!", I heard Winter shout but Weeron took her with him, leaving black smoke behind.

Not even a second passed and I had a hand at my throat, slamming me to the ground. I groaned and tried to catch a clear thought. There where enough of them but not even one was helpful.

No sword.
No teleporting.
No powers.
I'm done.

"When I'm done with you, then I'll gind your friends and I'll skin them alive." Amnael hovered above me and punched me in the face. Pain shot through my body and and I felt like the only thing I could do was to cover my face. There was no way in hell that I could have taken him down alone.

"You won't kill anyone today."

Weeron.

He was holding a gun and shoot a bullet through Amnael's head, which threw him off me. Weeron ran to me and pulled me up, but also Amnael got up. The bullet, of course, didn't cause any major wounds. The spot where it entered his head was already healed and it only left him more angry than he already was.

Weeron grabbed my shoulder and I started to burn, whereas Weeron dissolved into black smoke.
"No. No!" Amnael shouted and tried to get to us, but he was too slow. I found myself standing in Leo's living room. Along with Winter and Weeron.

We were the only ones left. Now we could either start again and try to kill Amnael once more, or I could do what I should have done from the beginning. End this by killing my brother.
