Winter and I hit the road to find some demons who would help us.
Winter was the demon I met a week ago at the diner. I looked for her the day after I first met her and told her about the plan I made.

By now she was possessing a female body because she grew tired of the man. Her new body was a 28-year-old girl with long jet black hair and dark brown, almost black eyes.

When we were driving it was mostly silent and only when she told me to stop somewhere because a demon lived nearby then we exchanged a few words.
Now we were on our way to Dansville. It was night and tight fog covered the road, the only thing we were able to see were the spots the headlights of the car reached, while old music was blasting out of the radio.

I was focused on the road so I wouldn't run over an animal or someone crazy people who could be walking around on the street, when suddenly it became silent in the car. I quickly glanced to Winter - she turned off the radio and looked at me.

"Usually I don't react the way I did at the diner. I was surprised and I didn't want trouble." She explained while putting her arm on the door along the window.

"And you were scared." I added grinning slightly.

She looked bewildered at me and snapped "I wasn't."

She was.

"Alright." I agreed even though I knew better and stopped the car at the driveway of a house "This one, right?"

"Yeah." Winter replied while getting out of the car and slamming the door shut. As soon as I got out as well she walked towards the house and said "And this time I'll talk to him. You just stand in the back and-...I don't know, try not to look like a dork."

Before I was able to protest she already rang the door and a tall man with short, dark golden brown hair who was wearing a beige pullover and black jeans. He looked at Winter for a bit and then he looked at me and his eyes flashed black - he was the one we were looking for.

"What are you doing here and who's your 'friend'?" the man asked snarky while returning his glance to Winter.

"We aren't friends, we just share the same interest, and we want you to help us." she replied with the same snarky undertone as he did.

"With?"

Winter groaned and rubbed her temple. After letting out a deep sigh she explained, "We want to bring down Amnael."

"What? Are you crazy?" the demon asked loudly and looked at her in surprise, "Ugh. Let's talk about this inside." Winter nodded and followed him inside. I was about to follow them as well but they shut the door and so I had to wait.

Our plan sounded simple, but it definitely wouldn't be. The plan was to gather a group of demons who wanted to get rid of Amnael, go to hell, kill all the demons who get in our way and then I'd stab him with my sword. This wouldn't stop Gabriel completely, but it would buy me some time and so long I'd have time find Gabriel and to push him into a cell in hell - where he belongs to be.
Sounds simple, but already finding demons is almost impossible. We only found two within a week and with this "Ryan Reynolds"-look-alike it was three of them.

Of course, we tell all of them to look for others as well, but it's like looking for a living being anywhere else in this universe.

After I waited more than an hour the front door finally opened and my companion exclaimed loudly, "You can come inside now!"
My body responded immediately by moving towards the house because I was bored of standing here all alone doing nothing.

When all of us were seated in the living room of the demon called "Laelion", who preferred to be called "Leo", he looked at me and said, "I get why you are doing this and I get why Winter is doing this. A lot of us hate Amnael, but why don't you just ask someone of your kind too?"

"Because they think I'm in hell and I won't change this fact. I don't want to have to deal with them."

"Alright. However, I know a group of rebels who would be happy to help us. I guess there are about 25 members - maybe more." Leo replied while leaning back in the couch.

"That's good-...No, that's great." I said pleasantly surprised.

Leo groaned and looked at Winter. Obviously he couldn't stand me even the slightest bit, or the fact that I'm an angel. "And I heard of an amulet that weakens Amnael a lot, but there's a little problem. It's in a church in Kansas and whoever built it managed to make it impossible for us to teleport inside."

"Then he should teleport there." Winter said nodding her head towards me, "He isn't one of us."

"I meant "us" as in everyone who is able to teleport. We can teleport in front of the church but not inside."

"Then let's go there." I tossed in, ignoring Leo's grumpy expression towards me.

After Winter and Leo bandied looks they agreed and we got up from the couches. Leo put his hands on our shoulders and soon after we were shrouded by black fog we found ourselves in front of the St. Benedict's Church in Atchison.
After checking our surroundings I walked to the door to look at the piece of paper with the times of masses. I checked the times for today and then I opened the door to the church.

"Where exactly is the amulet?" I asked turning to Leo.

Leo shook his head and stormed past me pushing me out of the way, "Behind the altar."

Before I could turn around I suddenly heard a deep groan coming from Leo and then a loud rumble from something falling to the ground.
