SANDER'S POINT OF VEIW
To explain my little scene with Katie, I have a good explanation for why that happened. I didn't know the t-shirt would have fit her the way it did- not that I'm complaining or anything. I was just surprised is all. But I will admit, she looked very nice in the outfit. If I thought she was tough and kickass before, I definitely thought she was now.
She was adorable honestly with the cloak on. She had the most loveliest of grins as she spun while walking, making the cloak spin in a wide circle and giggling like a child. She seemed so pure and innocent and childlike, it infuriated that my brother did what he had to her. I held her hand after a bit, speed walking as she skipped, making the fabric fly and float around her.
We passed several people, some regular clothing, some in cloaks. The colors ranged from the darkest green to the lightest blue. I noticed as my kitten looked around, nervously as some made eye contact with us.
"What's wrong Katie?" I asked her, squeezing her fingers.
"Everyone here... it's all so strange," She wouldn't look up as an attractive redhead with sparkling green eyes passed by, bumping my shoulder. She turned, walking a step backward, and smiled flirtatiously to me and kissed her gloved hand, sending me a kiss. I blushed and looked away, and noticed Katie was even quieter, but was glaring at the woman with what seemed to be jealousy and could be taken as hatred by some people. Suddenly, I saw Katie flick her wrist, only slightly, and the redhead broke a heel on her stiletto boots, tumbling to the ground and let out a yelp of pain as she landed on her face on the marble floor. I resisted the urge to laugh.
"My, my, is my little Kitten jealous?" I teased as she gave a small satisfactory smile at the woman's "accident."
"What? Ptsh! No! Why would you ever think such a thing?" She blushed, looking away embarrassed to be caught by putting someone else in harms way.. "How'd I do that anyway?" She looked down at her bony hands in pure wonder.
"You wanted damage to be done to her because you were being protective," I smiled and kissed her hand as we passed the redhead, who was trying to stand up with an obviously twisted ankle and a broken shoe heel. She shot a death glare at Katie and hissed something in Rulisas, the language most people like I and Katie speak. "You are an Influencer, meaning you affect things around you," I guided her through the hallways and down one that led to the magnificent garden,
"So I'm a witch?" Katie quickly looked up, her eyes bright. The sound of witch must sound to her like a trip to the candy store sounds to a child. If only she knew what a witch truly is, what lays behind the glamour that they cast on everyone around them, to deceive and destroy every little thing. I chuckled at her enthusiasm anyway.
"A much more mundane version, but yes," I smiled at her, loving how her gun metal blue eyes grew in wonder and she giggled happily; I loved to see her smile. "True witches are nasty business though, you don't want to be caught up with them," as if her ears were burning Chelsa, the leading Witch strode up, breaking my hold on Katie and throwing her arms around me. A strange aroma known for enchanting and enticing young men and women, luring them to a witch; or better known as their demise.
"Talking about me again my dear Sander?" She purred in a low tone that was meant to sound sexy, but was just ridiculous. I could see through the glamour she was using to try and cloud my mind into thinking she was the most lovely and beautiful human being to ever walk this planet. I saw Katie's face flash with hatred, and I admired her sudden jealousy.
"Hello Chelsa and I wasn't," I detangled myself from her arm, retreating to Katie's side, wrapping an arm around her waist. "I was just explain to Kaitlynn here about witches," I offered a smile to her as she rolled her hazelnut brown eyes.
I should take this moment to describe the little witch that stands in front of me. She was about five- eight, but almost at six feet since she had stilettos on. She was beautiful, don't get me wrong, but she didn't attract me what so ever. Her long black hair curled into thick ringlets, not as lovely as Katie's though. Her hazelnut brown eyes shimmered with a seductive look. Her mouth was decorated with dark red lipstick, making the dark eyeliner and eye shadow on her eyes stand out.
He skin was smooth and tan, not a single mortal like flaw to be seen. Her top was cut low enough to show of the top of her boobs, and was short enough to expose her stomach. Her skin tight jeans were just that- skin tight. Her stilettos were what you would call Hooker Boots because they went of to her knee and shaped to her legs perfectly. She wore a gothic trench coat over all of this hooker style clothing.
"Why are you hanging with normies these days Sander? I really don't get you," She flipped her raven black hair, her violet eyes shimmering with a nasty light. Not nasty in rude and cruel, but in a rather undressing-you-with-my-eyes look. At those words, Chelsa grabbed her side, her blood red nails flashing in comparison to her dark top, and cried out in pain.
"Fuck you to bitch," Katie growled, glaring at her with a crueler light than before; I'm only going to say this once, but it was sexy actually. Chelsa released her side, staring in horror at Katie, the horror quickly turning to hatred.
"You little-" The witch started growling, but I quickly cut her off by stepping between her and Katie, glaring at her.
"You dare touch her and I will cut your throat," I growled in a deep, rumbling voice to her. At first she looked terrified as I twisted a Reaper Knife between my fingers tips. But then, her eyes shifted to a harsh, cool light and she flipped her hair.
"Whatever, I don't want normie blood on my hands anyway," She rolled her eyes and strutted past. "But, Sander, if you ever want to have some fun, you know where to find me," She threw a wink over her shoulder and bit her lip before blowing me a kiss. I rolled my eyes and by the time I turned to Katie, the clicking sounds of her shoes had faded away.
"I hate her," Katie hissed, crossing her arms over her chest. "I don't ever want to see her ever again."
"Calm down Kitten," I cupped her elbows in my hands, gently pulling her closer to me. "She's a witch. She believes she can get whatever she would like, man or not. But I find it ridiculous how hard she tries. I only have eyes for you Beautiful," I gently kissed her forehead, smiling as she sighed and shut her eyes, locking her arms around my waist. I gently rubbed her back, kissing the top of her head. "She will never be able to take your place Kitten."
"I believe you. I still hate her though," She sighed, lifting her head and resting her chin on my chest to look up at me. "Now, what do you want to show me?" I suddenly remembered what we had been doing and toke her hand, leading her through the garden and over a bridge that kept you from freezing water. My cloak drifted above the ground, snapping against my heels. Even though there was snow on the ground, the cloak kept me very warm as we made our way over to the farthest corner possible.
"Okay," I stopped next to the high stone wall, just inches above my head. I bent one knee and locked my fingers together so I could help boost her up to the top. "I'll boost you up," I smiled, as she held my shoulders, placing her boot on my hand. I lifted my hands, pushing her to the top as she pulled herself up. All I had to do was jump and use my strength to pulled myself the rest of the way. Katie tried to help, but with her weak frame, she wasn't able to help much even with the strain. But it was still adorable of her to help and I let her believe she had helped.
I peeked over the edge at the training class, and then motioned for her to scoot closer to see. Her shiny, gun metal blue eyes shimmered like two dinner plates as she watched them. The class was practicing on dummies, others reciting spells, some mentally fighting others and controlling objects. They were all advanced levels, ranging anywhere from melee attack to magical attacks.
"This is what the younger students and or newer ones do that have no control of their power up until this point," I explained to her. "See their uniforms? All red cloaks right? Red cloaks stand for student, lowest on the level but working up the chain," I made a broad motion to all the students, male and female, youngest to oldest. The youngest seemed to be maybe ten and the oldest seemed about twenty even though I could be very wrong. "Our black ones represent top beings, meaning we are the highest power here next to the Over Master. I smiled at her as she stared in complete bewilderment. "This is your new world Katie, my love," I kissed her temple, my scars pressing to her skin.
