May watched him walk past her every five minutes. She could smell his body spray. She breathed it in as if it was oxygen and she would die without it. She could have watched him all day.

May was a simple person, her brown ringlets just brushed past her shoulders. She was at average height; she didn’t have the same figure as the other girls she knew. She had big dreams, a colourful and heart-warming personality. She had a habit of looking at people and judging them by the way you saw them, not in appearance but in their actions and their behaviours. She was pushed to the side; her voice was drowned out but the egos of those around her.

Sam on the other hand was tall, dark and mysterious. He had fluffy hair, a rich brown colour that gave it intensity. That was all May knew about him, his hair and his faded red shoes that he wore every day. She knew very little of him, but the look of him intrigued her. The lack of knowledge and his mysterious personality just amazed her. Every new thing May learnt about this boy, made her want him more and more.
