Katara walked down the long hallway filled with doors to different rooms, she figured the ship would be better decorated and furnished but it was all steel with dim red lights.

The guard put his hand softly on her back to stop her and motioned her into the door to her left.

"This will be your room for the next 2-3 hours before we land in the Fire Nation, get comfortable miss." The guard said to her before walking away.

Katara walked in closing the door behind her. The room had bright red walls with black flowers embellished all over them, a bed about queen sized sat in the middle with satin red sheets.

Katara sat down on the edge of the bed dropping her bag. She opened her small palm revealing the blue ribbon Sokka had gave her before her departure, she had never taken it out of her hand.

Her ocean blue eyes stared as it as her vision got blurry due to tears forming in her eyes.

You're doing this for your people, for your family, you should be proud of yourself Katara.

She thought this to herself before slumping her head down in between her arms as her fingers wrapped around the ribbon gripping it tightly.

Katara must have fallen asleep for a couple of hours because she had awaken to a knock on the door, she sat up quickly wiping her face and stuffing the blue ribbon in her bag as a guard came in with red garments.

"You may keep the clothes you have on now, but you must wear these fire nation clothes here." The guard said throwing her the dress and shoes before walking out.

Katara slipped her flown long blue dress off and folded it nicely so it would fit in her bag, at least they were letting her keep it.

She placed the small red top over her head first, it was a deep red crop top that reached just above her belly button, she tugged at softly as it was way tighter than her old clothing. She then pulled up the long red skirt to match the top, this was a bit more flowy at the ends but it hugged the edges of her hips showing her full petite figure.

Katara looked in the mirror pulling up the two golden arm bracelets to her upper arm on each side before putting the gold long bracelets on her wrists. She pulled her hair out of the long brown braid it was in letting it flow lose reaching the top of her hips.

She brushed it out slowly with the brush on the vanity and pulled a small piece of her hair up in a bun leaving the rest flow behind her. As she tied the red ribbon around her small bun the guard came in to escort her out.

Katara grabbed her bag and stuffed her old clothing in it and slipped the red flats on before walking out, the guard stopped her pointing to her necklace about to take it off before Katara slapped his hand away and narrowed her eyes to him.

"The necklace stays." She said to him coldly, he opened his mouth as if he was about to say something but stopped nodding as he escorted her up the stairs to the deck of the ship.

Her eyes widened at the beautiful view of the palace. She would never admit it but she loved it in the Fire Nation. It was so beautiful, tropical, and warm.

Katara walked down the metal boarding runway leading her to the official ground of the Fire Nation. Two guard walked behind her as she started to walk up to the palace they stopped her.

"No royalty or future royalty must be forced to walk, you must be carried up to the palace." They said pointing to the chair surrounded with cushions and curtains decorated around the top with four men carrying it.
