Chapter 6

Katara walked to her closet after the whole 'scene' happened with Zuko. Every time she thought of it she pull blush, rekindling the feeling of his skin tracing hers.

She shook her head ignoring it as she looked through her wardrobe, yesterday she wore a short dress here so she figured she would change it up.

Katara stood on her toes to grab the hanger from the rack, she choose a light red dress. As she placed it over her body she was shocked how even the long dresses were so fitted, they definitely had different styles here.

The long dress had a long red train that flowed behind her, the sleeves were tight except for the ends, the cuffs were large and flowy.

She looked in the mirror to see her braid all messy from the fight, she took it out and brushed all the knots out till her long chocolate hair flowed wavily behind her.

As she slipped on some flats she quickly walked out of the room to see Zuko waiting for her. He was wearing the usual deep red robes he wore the day before.

As Zuko saw her walk out of her room his eyes widened at her outfit. She truly did look like a Fire Nation queen, the long dress looked so elegant on her, especially with her hair down.

Katara noticed him stare as she blushed a bit scratching her arm, jokingly she raised her hand and swung it by his face.

"Earth to Zuko, you in there prince?" Katara asked laughing as Zuko shook his head and smiled.

"Sorry you just look very elegant, you should wear your hair down more." Zuko said smiling as he offered his elbow to her, she took it softly as they walked down the stairs.

As she held onto his upper arm she was shocked with how hard and muscular it felt, she didn't notice herself squeezing his arm till he spoke up to her.

"Um Katara would you mind not squeezing my arm please." Zuko said laughing down to her as Katara laughed as well.

Once the finally reached the bottom of the stairs they were greeted by Zuko and a few other teens, 2 of the boys looked about Zuko's age then there was one small girl, she was shorter than Katara but still looked a bit teen like.

As Zuko saw his family a big grin formed on his face as he walked up to the two boys hugging them tightly.

"Ahem, Prince Zuko would you mind introducing your future bride these people?" Iroh said smiling to Zuko.

"Oh sorry Katara, these are my cousins: Tai, Jin, and Tylee." Zuko said smiling, the small girl named Tylee smiled brightly seeing Katara as she ran to her hugging her tightly.

Katara let out a grunt due to how tight Tylee was hugging her.

"Hi I'm Tylee! I'm Zuko's cousin! I'm so glad to have another gal around the house that's my age!" Tylee exclaimed smiling up to her.

Katara smiled hugging her back before she politely pried the girl off herself.

"Thank you Tylee, you see, very sweet." Katara said bowing to Tylee.

"Uncle this is a great surprise, why are they here so early? The wedding is in 2 weeks." Zuko asked looking to his uncle.

"Well they will be staying here for the two weeks to give you two some company, and of course they couldn't miss the pre-wedding party." Iroh said to him smiling.
