I sat in class staring at the teacher as he explained the notation of astronomical science or something or another. You could literally feel the classroom lulling into a deep sleep, and not the good kind that made you want to dream. The seats were pretty simple, there were only four of us. I sat in the right corner of the back, and next to me sat Minami, who looked just as bored as I. Turning, I smiled at her and pointed to the paper on my desk then to her. She nodded and grinned back. I quickly scribbled the words, I am so fucking bored right now, and handed the paper to her quietly. She let her pencil fly, and passed it back to me. I glanced down at it, Right? Hey, did you hear that there are two boys that are supposed to move to our school today? I've heard they're hot. I snorted out loud which got me a glare from our teacher, Mr. Motley, whose hair was white while his face was smushed together so much you could barely see his eyes. The wrinkles made him seem like a very old, rotten tomato.
"Is there something you'd like to share with the class, Soriyu?" His voice was deep and gruffled, as if someone had shoved something down it and it had stretched it out.
"No sir," I said, and shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
"Oh, I'm sure it must be important since you had to make such a deal of it," Mr. Motley set his eyes on me as if to question my sanity. He groaned and waddled over to my desk, but I tried to hide the paper. He quickly snatched it and cleared his throat, "I am so fucking bored right now," his gaze shot down at me as he continued, "Right? Hey, did you hear that there are two boys that are supposed to move to our school today? I've heard they're hot." I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment as he imitated a girl with the tone of a drama queen.
"I'm sorry Mr. Motley, it won't happen again," I mumbled softly. He chuckled and stroked my golden blonde hair with his hand.
"I thought as much," Mr. Motley sounded like he was about to pounce on a piece of injured prey. His voice was cold, and his body was tense. The door bursted open and flew off the hinges in an instant. I gasped and looked up. A boy was standing there his expression said that he had no idea what had happened either. His hair was a dark blue that almost looked black, and his eyes were strangely white. The boy smiled crookedly and scratched the back of his head absently.
"Uh, sorry 'bout that teach," He paused as he stared around the bare room, "Hey, small fucking classroom if ya ask me."
Mr. Motley snapped out of the shock and had his cold, I'm going to kick your ass gaze back, "Young man, you just knocked my door down and swore in my classroom." The boy blinked slowly.
"I don't see what I did wrong, my language is fine," he actually sounded kind of confused at the moment, "Shit, I am not good at change." His crooked grin reappeared as he sat in the empty desk next to me.
Looking as if he were a volcano project about to explode Mr. Motley walked over to the boy, "What's your name, son?" His voice is kind of shaky.
"Hideki Akiyama, sir," Hideki almost sounded sarcastic, but the playfulness in his eyes had stayed. He looked over at me and grinned again, "Well, at least I don't have a room full of ugly chicks." I rolled my eyes and tried to stay out of more trouble than I already was in. "Aw cmon, not going to talk to me?" Hideki pouts as he gazes at me.
"Hello Hideki, my name is Soriyu," I could tell that my voice was shaky, and I winced at the wimpiness of it.
"Soriyu huh? Hot," He was so subtle, it honestly confused me more than anything.
"That's enough!" Mr. Motley apparently had just exploded, "Soriyu, Hideki, to the office now!"
Hideki frowned, "Oh sorry, Angel," he winked, "Didn't mean to get ya in trouble."
"Now!" Mr. Motley urged angrily. I sighed and got out of my seat, So much for not getting into trouble today, I thought in annoyance. As I left the classroom Hideki seemed a bit more awkward the moment we had been alone.
"So, you're new, correct?" I asked him trying to keep the silence at bay.
"Yep, I came from--" Hideki stopped and frowned, but never finished. We passed by the purple lockers that were made specially for the grade below us, and a boy had just closed one when he got a look of Hideki.
"Hideki," his voice rose slightly as his pitch black eyes seemed to stare into Hideki's soul, "Please, don't tell me you've already been sent to the principal's office." The boy's hair was a deep red, and he glared at Hideki as if he were responsible for him.
"Don't try to ruin my fun, Setsuna," Hideki frowned at the boy, "Plus, you're younger than me, you know nothing."
Setsuna seemed to bristle at the mention of the age difference, "You may be older, but you're as dumb as a fucking jackass ramming into a fence."
"Great description," Hideki noted his white eyes filled with humor.
Setsuna sighed, "Just go to the principal's office, Hideki." Nodding, Hideki walked off quickly, and I had to jog to catch up. We were now in the cafeteria where there was always food crusted into the floors because our janitor sucked ass at his job. Hideki suddenly stopped and I rammed into him.
"What the hell?" I challenged rubbing my sore head. Hideki turned to me, but what I saw actually frightened me. I thought his eyes had turned blood red.
