I stood there my arms extended towards the both of Hideki and Isei who had been viciously battling. I remembered everything. There was a heaven and a hell, and there sure as hell was a God. The Four Heavenly Gates. That's what I was a part of, and there were four distinct classes within that standard. I was The Guardian of God, probably the most powerful out of the four. Isei was one called The Demon Hunter, and the name practically explained it all. And then as I stood in front of them, I felt power radiate from my body.
"Are you two going to stop, or am I going to have to make you?" My voice sounded powerful, and Hideki looked mortified.
"Yes, ma'am," Isei scratched the back of his head and laughed. I walked over to Setsuna who was still crouched over in pain, and I put my hand to his stomach. Pulsing power into his wound, I felt it close slowly beneath my hand.
I then stood up and glared at Isei, "Don't ever harm our friends again, got it?"
"Friends?" I shot him a sharp look and he quickly replied, "Of course, our friends."
"I have to go do something, but you guys need to behave yourselves." I clenched my fist, I lost my key, how irresponsible.
---------------Isei's POV---------------
Soriyu had left a while ago and I sat there awkwardly scrolling through my phone as Hideki sat next to me stiffly.
"Huh, what do you know?" I said in amusement, and Hideki looked up at me, "One in three people are gay."
"Well, I'm not." His eyes narrowed.
"Me either." Our eyes widened as we looked over at Setsuna, who was still staring at his book, "Makes sense," My tone was blunt, and Hideki broke out in laughter. Setsuna's gaze rippled above the book.
"What was that?" His tone was cold.
"Nothing!" I quickly waved off the question. "You guys got a car?" I twiddled with my phone once again.
"No, but I'm planning to go out to get one once Soriyu gets back," Hideki replied.
"Don't forget to get the best you can." I rolled my eyes, "So, are we sticking together from now on?"
"I guess so." Hideki shrugged, "According to Soriyu anyways."
------------Soriyu's POV-----------
As I stood out in the cold wind, with the leaves slicing at my skin, I stared up at the sky. I had that hunger again, that hunger I used to have before forgetting. Isei needed to hunt soon, and I didn't even know where to begin looking for my key. Each gate had a key that allowed them to enter or leave heaven. Mine was lost, and who knew? It could have gotten into the hands of a demon, which would be shitty considering I was not up there to help if that was happening. I clenched my fists once again, and felt that damned pang of hunger. Feeling my back pocket, I fished out the device from that picture I had seen. I traced it with my fingers as I remembered it as the Demon Radar, which located any nearby demons. ((As the name hints)) It immediately pointed back towards the house and I sighed in relief. The closest demons to me were Setsuna and Hideki. After a few hours I gave up and returned to the house. God, I swear I'll be home soon, I thought grimly to myself.
------------Hideki's POV------------
Soriyu had soon came home, and I set off to get a car for our "group" thing. Well, good thing was I got a huge deal! And the car was great! I had only been on Earth for a couple of weeks, but it seemed normal to me. The van was white and had the faded words.. "Free Candy!" I opened the door to see if it worked, and it did. I grinned and looked at the rim of the wheels. They had strange squishy objects, and I poked at them in amusement.
"I'll take it." I shook a very confused man's hand, and he gave me the key suspiciously. I got in the van and it started up right away. As I was driving back to the house, I saw a hot girl, and, hey, I had to hit on her. "Hey, babe, want a ride?" She took one look at my van and ran away screaming. "What?" I revved the engine as I chased her down the forest. "This man was very nice, he gave people free candy!?" I attempted, but she kept running, and I couldn't figure out why. I had almost caught up to her when she sharply turned and my van crashed into a tree. "Well, shit." I narrowed my eyes and backed up slowly. When I made it to the house everyone was outside with weapons drawn.
----------Soriyu's POV-----------
A white van approached the house, and I drew my sword silently. The van had faded etches of "Free Candy" on it. Dildos covered the rims, and I was honestly terrified by this. However, when the van pulled up, it was Hideki who was looking out.
"Wasn't this guy nice?" He sounded proud, "He gave people free candy!" I facepalmed, and Isei broke. He was on the ground nearly crying from laughter.
Isei then walked up to Hideki and whispered something in his ear. Hideki's eyes slowly widened as huge as watermelons.
"That poor girl..." He whispered softly.
"What?" My head kind of hurt from the confusion.
"Oh..Nothing..." Yeah, sure seemed like nothing.
"Well, we're stuck with it now, may as well make the best of it!" Isei chuckled and ran to the van. He suddenly revved off, and I was left alone with Setsuna and Hideki.
"He's a dumbass," I said bluntly.
"Yup." Setsuna opened the doors and walked inside the building. Suddenly a pain bursted through my body, and I crouched over. I was starving. I needed blood.
