The house exploded and I was sure we were going to die, but there were two wings shielding us. They weren't like mine at all, but instead they were dark colored. Purple patterns wisped around the wings. I looked around for the source of them, but gasped when I saw who it was. Hideki was standing there with wings shielding two angels. A demon just saved angels. I narrowed my eyes at him wondering what he was up to.

"Aw, don't give me that glare, Angel." He grinned and winked, "It'd be bad if I let my little piece of light die from her irresponsible friend." Hideki gave Isei a glare, "Maybe you should be more careful, you do know that normal weapons don't harm demons, don't you?" Hideki put his wings away, but I stood there gaping. Those were some beautiful wings for a demon. And damn, Hideki was hot. I closed my mouth, and huffed.

"Hideki, why did you even save us?" My tone was neutral, but I gave him a cold glare.

He grinned, "Because I like you." Hideki whispered in my ear, "Also, between me and you, let's meet at my house at 10:00, aye?" Isei narrowed his eyes.

"Get the fuck away from her." He pulled out a dagger. Hideki smiled widely.

"What're you going to do with that toothpick?" Hideki epasarated. I stood there with a hard look on my face.

"Stop, both of you." I looked at them both with a shaming glare. Isei put his head down in guilt, but Hideki just grinned and put his arm around me.

"You're hot when you're mad, you know that?" Subtle as usual. I rolled my eyes, and looked around.

"Now what?" The ruins of my house crumbled around me, and I heard sirens in the distance.

"Now," Hideki noted hearing the same sirens, "We fly." His wings expanded again, but I glanced at him.

"I don't know how to work mine," I said coldly.

"That's easy, just think, fly." Hideki took to the air. Fly, I thought, but doubted it would work. The same sensation as the first time appeared, and I grinned. Suddenly I thought of something, and frowned over at Isei.

"Can you fly with only one wing?" I asked. He looked up at me like a puppy who had just pissed on the floor and got caught.

"No." I rolled my eyes, and grabbed his arms. I flexed my back muscles as if I was walking, and I immediately took to the air. "You don't have to carry me, Soriyu, I can walk," He told me.

"Shut the fuck up and let me concentrate," I snarled at him, and he did. Hideki smiled at me, and beckoned me to follow him. I uneasily made my way through the air. It felt amazing, like ziplining, but you had control of where you were going. I frowned, it'd be even better without Isei, but I put that in the back of my mind. Hideki suddenly swiveled right, and I followed him quickly. We came to a huge mansion, and I gasped. Hideki landed and his wings folded. He smiled at me and held his hand out to help me. I smacked it aside and put down Isei. I suddenly realized I didn't know how to put my wings away. Fold? I attempted, and surprisingly my wings obeyed. "Is this your place?" I asked Hideki. He smiled and nodded.

"You like it?" I gaped at the place in awe.

"Yes, it's beautiful, how'd you get your hands on it?" I could tell Isei was getting sick of me socializing with a demon.

"It might be better if you don't know." He grinned, and opened the door to let me in. He beckoned me to walk in, "Ladies first." I stalked by, and punched him in the gut. Hideki curled over in pain, but laughed in doing so. "Damn, who knew Angels could be so heartless?" He teased slightly. When I stepped in the door the first thing I noticed was the floor. It was covered in beautiful wood planks that had been polished, and in front of the door was a nice red rug that said, "Welcome!" I looked up, and sure enough there were chandeliers. Unlike the ones you saw in the movies these glittered with a red tint to it, and it just made the room more beautiful as it illuminated it. Close to the door there were stairs that led to the next floor, and they seemed carved carefully out of wood by a professional. To my right laid the kitchen, which you could see from the doorway. The floor was scattered with dark tiles that just matched the style of the kitchen. The stove was black along with all the wood cupboards in the room.

Hideki grinned widely at my look of marvel, "I'll show you to your room, Angel." He beckoned me to follow him, and we weaved our way through the kitchen, and to a marvelously huge room. The walls were painted white, and the furniture was also white, it seemed to illuminate. Isei stepped in and gaped.

"Oh, sorry, you," Hideki said with distaste as he pointed at Isei. "You'll have to sleep on the couch, I'll show you where." They left the room and I collapsed on the bed. It felt amazing. I am not shitting you that was the best fucking bed I had ever laid in. Imagine the comfiest bed you've slept in, and multiply it by 500. I stared up at the wall which was lined with sketches of stars. Eventually I had fallen asleep until I heard a knock on the door. I lifted my head and groaned slightly.

"Come in." I sat up, and the door opened. Hideki walked in and his white eyes flickered slowly. He smiled at me.

"Just checking in on you." He sat on the bed, and rubbed my arms with his soft hands. I felt goosebumps appear on my arms as his cold, soft hands rubbed them softly. I leaned into him, not wanting to let him go. "Is it okay if I do this?" He leaned in and kissed my neck softly, and then made his way up to my face, my forehead. The kisses were soft like the tingle of a butterfly's presence. His lips met my mouth, and it was amazing. His lips were soft against mine, and he slowly pressurized. I smiled into his lips, and pulled him in. I ran my hand through his shaggy hair, and wrapped my fingers around it, pulling him closer. At the moment it was just us, and nothing else. I could feel the heartbeat, and in that moment I knew I was in love. We stopped, both breathing deeply, and I smiled at him.

"That was amazing, Hideki," My voice is hoarse from the action, "You're a great kisser."

"Then shut up and kiss me more." He pulled me in and suddenly we rolled on the bed, and we're against each other gasping softly.

"Is this why I couldn't be in here?" A voice growled angrily from the doorway. I quickly pulled away from Hideki, and looked up in embarrassment at Isei. He only gave me a disappointed look and walked away.

"Well," Hideki commented from the bed. "You're a great kisser too, Soriyu." I looked at him.

"You called me Soriyu, not Angel." I stared at him in confusion.

"I know." He got up and left the room leaving me alone. My lips still tingled from the kiss, and I smiled to myself. Well, I guess I can say I've kissed a demon.
