-------------------Isei's POV------------------
I glared angrily down at my watch, it had been at least two hours since the incident and Soriyu hadn't even come out to apologize. I could feel the cold gaze of Setsuna across the room whom was sitting on the red leather couch. Sighing, I took out my blade which was poisonous to demons. It did not harm angels. I dug the tip a little into my skin, and gasped in surprise as a burst of pain exploded through me. It had never hurt me before. Clenching the hilt, I monitored the blade with a sudden interest. I expanded my wings and noticed that the small stub that had been there was larger now. My other wing was beginning to drain of the darkness. Horror filled my body as I poked the stump. It was regrowing as a demon wing.
-----------------Setsuna's POV-----------------
As I turned another page in my book I exhaled deeply as black blood slowly appeared. I sucked on my finger slowly and read the book again. I was trying to learn everything about angels because I didn't trust this Isei dude. Furthermore, he didn't trust us. I gazed up at him, but it got returned with another glare. I rolled my eyes and glanced back at my book. It really didn't matter to me that my brother had just kissed an angel, the thing was that it was Soriyu. She had this powerful aura about her, and it left me unsettled. I reached for the coffee cup set next to the couch. Taking a sip, I turned another page in my book. What I read next nearly made my spit out my coffee. There was a picture of Soriyu, and a whole caption. She was the Guardian Angel of God. I was suddenly on my feet and up in Isei's face. I grabbed his pale, blue shirt, and shoved the book in his face.
"What the hell is this?" I spat.
"Soriyu's job." He slowly pushed my hand away from his shirt and gave me that cold glare of his.
"Oh, and that job just happens to make her one of the most powerful angels?" I could feel my fangs trying to escape, but I refused to let them. Instead, they dug into my lip and I tasted the saltiness of my own blood explode my tastebuds. Suddenly the world spun and I looked down in horror. Isei had stabbed me with his blade.
-----------------Soriyu's POV-----------------
I sat on the bed my legs dangling uncaringly off the side. Hideki had left a long time ago to who knows where, and I hadn't summed up the courage to go talk to Isei yet. I knew he was pissed, and I did not want to deal with that shit right now. Yawning, I collapsed on my bed, and stared up the ceiling. The sheets seemed to consume me as I reached for a book on the bed suddenly interested. "The Angel's Wrath." I cocked my head and opened the book, flipping through the pages. I stopped on a page that had a picture of Isei and was captioned, "The Demon Hunter." Whatever that meant, I read the caption and my eyes widened. He had been trying to kill demons for no reason. Flipping through more pages, I passed something and stopped hastily. I went back to the page and gasped. As I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, I stared down at a picture as me...no.....not me. A fucking badass who I would never want to start shit with. My hair was up in a ponytail, and I was holding a strange device. My face was expressionless, but the one thing that scared me was the last thing I noticed. My mouth was covered in black blood.
------------------Hideki's POV-----------------
As I stalked out of that room with a grin on my face, I felt my pulse racing. I swung around a pole outside the house, and jumped with inhumane features as I landed in the tree like a cat. I leaned against it in pleasure. I had pissed Isei and kissed Soriyu, two for one. As I played with the bark on the tree I felt uncertainty rise from my brother, Setsuna. We had a strange connection thing, so for example if he was harmed, I could feel it. He was questioning that damned Isei again. I grinned smally as I kicked at the tree's branch. Once again I imagined his face as he saw me kissing his "interest." I don't know it was that one thing where he liked her but she could have given less of a fuck for him. I took in a deep breath of air, but suddenly winced. I clenched my stomach, and looked down at it expecting blood. There was none. My eyes widened, "Setsuna!" I raced in the house, knocking the door over which had already been knocked over today. Isei was sitting in front of Setsuna a knife twisted into his stomach. I felt my form release at the sight of this. My fangs expanded and my wings exploded from my back. My skin turned a gray color, and my black tail sprouted from my buttox. Talons grew from my nails and I roared at Isei. He looked up in surprise as I lashed out at him. I left three marks on his face, and Isei unlatched the knife from Setsuna. It had a disturbing sound which had the density of flesh twisting as the knife unfolded from it. I flinched at the sudden sharp pain, but it wasn't enough for Isei to notice. He charged at me with his knife expanded, but I ducked behind him. I turned to his back and slashed at his spine. I could feel the flesh break beneath my claws, and his scream of pain. I smiled to myself, and he turned his eyes red. This was battle adrenaline, when your body just did what it could to survive, it knew what to do. Giving him a few more slashes, we then stood there panting a little. I felt blood trickle down my forehead from where he had hit me before. Smiling, I charged. So did he. Suddenly a flash of light made me turn so I wouldn't be blind. Soriyu was standing there her hands out, but she looked different. She looked like a badass. Soriyu looked over at me, and I shuddered at the coldness in her eyes. The eyes that had once been blue were then a striking gold. She was no more that innocent girl I kissed earlier. This was a Guardian of God.
