The moment I saw those eyes change I knew that kid was not human. Hideki stood there his eyes blood red maybe for a fraction of a second, but I was frankly sure it had happened. His white chilling eyes were quickly back, and Hideki kind of looked confused. Shaking his head, he tilted it slightly.

"Oh, sorry, Angel," It wasn't in the same teasing tone as it had been the first time, but more of the tone used to try to sound normal. It wasn't working. I frowned at him.

"What are you?" I inquired, evidently, I feared the answer. "And my name isn't Angel."

"I don't know," Hideki hung his head, he completely ignored my comment. I knew he was telling the truth though. "Sometimes, I'll have these weird flash-back things, and it creeps the hell outta me." He scratched the back of his head, "Honestly, I don't remember anything about my past."

"Uh huh, and now I ask, why the hell do you trust me with this information? You just met me!" My anger flared, but it was kind of unnatural for me for I seldom lost my temper.

"I don't know why, but I trust you," Resting his eyes on me it felt warm and kind. Immediately I knew I was blushing, and turned my face quickly so he wouldn't notice. "We'd better get to the principal's office," He was obviously trying to avoid more awkwardness. As we opened the doors to the office, the principal was glaring at us. Mr. Presley had once been in the military, and he was not the kind of guy you'd like to fuck with.

"Would you two like to explain why you've been sent down here?" He rested his hand on the desk, and leaned on it as if to try to look chill.

"Nope." Hideki replied coldly, "We done? Great! I'll be on my way." He opened the door and left immediately. Furthermore, he stuck his tongue out at the principal. I groaned and sprinted out the door after him, hoping the principal didn't start chasing us down with a shotgun. As I caught up with him he turned and grinned mischievously, "How was that, Angel?" He elbowed my side and I couldn't help but smile back.

"It was great," I admitted, and punched him playfully in the shoulder. Setsuna was waiting right where we left him, and he rolled his eyes as we approached him.

"Who's that?" His tone is edged slightly.

"This? Aw, it's just 'ol Angel," Hideki teased. Setsuna seemed to tense, and he glared at me.

"My name is Soriyu," I explained to him, and he relaxed a little bit.

"Setsuna," he held out his hand and I took it. I felt a sharp pain, almost like a spark, and Setsuna looked mortified. His eyes widened as he looked at Hideki again. "Dude! Put that thing away! We're in school," I decided I was kind of scared what he was talking about, but I turned around anyway. Hideki was standing there, and a tail stuck out from behind his back. Blushing, he tucked the tail in his pants where it seemed to disappear.

"What are you," I demanded Setsuna, "Tell me, now."

Setsuna looked at me with a sort of fear in his gaze as he lowered his voice, "I can't tell you until I'm sure I can trust you." His eyes are soft although pitch black. I pouted slightly, but stood my ground.

"Tell me," I growled, and Setsuna suddenly looked frightened. He nodded slowly as if it was not his own will doing so.

"You can't tell anyone," he pleaded softly.

"I won't," I promised.

"Me and my brother, well, we're demons," Setsuna finished bluntly. "We've been stuck on this world for years, and we can't remember why."

Eyes widened I backed up quickly, and dashed to the principal's office. "Sir!" I commanded, and he looked up in surprise. "There's a major problem here, the whole school's in danger," I told him instantly. His eyes narrowed.

"What's the problem?" He got up as if to grab that shotgun of his.

"There are two demons in our school, and who knows what they'll do to us!" I insisted desperately. His intrigued and worried gaze instantly disappeared.

"Great, trying to get out of trouble, are you?" Mr. Presley glowered at me, and sat back down. "Get back to class, liar."

"But I'm no--" I start. "NOW!" He roars interrupting me. I jumped in surprise, and stalked back to my classroom. Setsuna glared at me with a hatred that was undeniable, and I stayed my distance feeling a bit dismayed. Hideki just gazed at me with disappointment, and pain like he wanted to be near me. He knew he couldn't though, I was terrified of them. Little did I know how close to those demons I actually was.
