The days quickly passed in a mess of busy schedules and small tensions that popped up sporadically. Rose and Jesse would take turns with Normani, Dinah, and Lauren when it came to checking up on Demi. They all visited about three times a week together, and every other day separately. Rose was doing her best at staying positive as she bounced around their schedules trying to help in any way she could, whether it was taking Lauren lunch or dropping Leah off at school with Jesse, she did all she could to distract her wife from the constant absence of her wife.

It was becoming more and more difficult, and she was starting was unable to get a full nights rest unless Jesse or Lauren were sleeping with her.

Lauren had been passing by her mother's room the first few nights after Camila and Leah's arrival, and noticed her mother crying in her sleep. When she had awoken her mother from the horrible dream, Lauren held her as she broke down, and it occurred to the young Lawyer that behind the smiles, and looks of comfort her mother had been projecting to them all, she truly was struggling without her wife.

Lauren did her best to comfort her and Jesse, who despite his age, was starting to really worry that his mother would never wake up. Lauren assured him that the doctors were the one keeping her sleeping, only so that she could heal more than she already had.

Luckily, Normani and Dinah had moved into the basement of Roses house, mainly due to Dinah's own paranoia. Because of the closeness the three friends shared, She was not willing to leave Normani alone in the apartment they shared, when she worked the long hours she did. At first Normani put up a large fight about being able to take care of herself, and not needing Dinah to make decisions for her, When Dinah had exploded in a mess of yelling and angry tears. Suffice it to say, Normani relented at the tearful eyes she was shot with, and gave up, helping Dinah pack their things.

Normani should have realized then that she cared for her best friend, more than was advisable in a regular friendship, but she just put it down for always having a soft spot for Dinah's sad eyes. Dinah however had been a little more manipulative, and knew what would work on her best friend. She was a sucker for pleading eyes, especially Dinah's. The togan put it down for the many things they had been through together, and pushed it from her mind. She had other things to worry about for now.

Dinah and Lauren were using every availiable minute after dinner to go over the many unsolved rape cases that had popped out of the surrounding counties, and it used Demi's office to exam every case piece by piece, hoping to see a pattern. So far only the physical descriptions and the ages were really the only thing these girls had in common. Besides their athleticism that is...

"He has to be here Dinah. He has to be." Lauren ranted, running her hands through her hair angrily as she paced the office.

Dinah who was sitting in one of Demi's office chairs, shook her head saying, "I don't see how Lauren. He hasn't hit here, and he's been hitting everywhere else. We're more likely going to find him at one of the other cities high schools prowling for more Victims.

"What about his photo? It's all over the city! It has to be easier for people to site him or be warned of him." Lauren continued, the idea of another girl suffering weighing on her hard.

"Kids rarely watch the news anymore Lauren! I mean they have their phones for that, they don't even have to really be at home to receive the news, but their phones do have the departments alert on them, but it's not mandatory to view. " Dinah protested angrily, as she threw another file on the floor in anger, glaring at all the ones littering the floor that she had been over multiple times.

"We have to do something Dinah! I can't let him do this to anyone else or have my family terrified anymore! Leah is always scanning the area everywhere she goes, and Rose doesn't let jesse play outside anymore, Camila and Mani are chaffing from all this protection, and I need to go back to work at some point...." She ranted pulling her hair lightly in frustration.
