There was a time in my life when this piece was a hit. Hahahaha. Alhamdulillah I have gotten better. So, here you have it, a piece I wrote when I just started my writing journey.

As i fade away
Like footprints on the beach
Covered by sand
Carried by the wind
My emotions gloomy
Like nights in the wood
Thickened and darkened
No slit for a beam of happiness
My soul enveloped in sorrow cloaks
Hardened by cold jealousy
Thoughts of darkened memories
Tearing up my fiercely outlook
Who knew i was once
Like petals of rose
Soft and mushy
Like the sun at dawn
Beautiful and radiant
Like the shade of an oak tree
Very calm and welcoming
Now am defaced
With a gruesome look
Disfigured like a fallen fruit
Now i am crushed
Like an ant
At the merciless foot of man
My petals ruptured by coarse hands
My sun covered by rainy clouds
My shade littered with wastes of affections
As i fade away
Like footprints on the beach covered by sand
Carried by the wind
