Twelve golden chariots roll out into the glorious eyes of the Capitol. Leading them is last year's victor, district two's very own Maia Jones.

In district one's chariot stand Ruby Shimmer and Bronze Cayne. Ruby is wearing a long, violet gown, studded with gems. Bronze is wearing a violet suit, with colorful gems. The gems sparkled in the artificial sun making them dazzle and shine. The crowd shouts praise at them, shouting their names and throwing roses.

Following district one is district two. They are wearing silver, metal tunics. They are wearing golden headpieces with feathers sticking all out of them. Alec Horne and Beau Annis did not look particularly happy to be wearing them. The audience took this a different way and thought they were looking evil and brave.

Next is district three. The twins look adorable in sparkling mini dresses. They had flashing light bulbs placed in their heads, as if they had a brilliant idea every few seconds. They wave happily at the crowd as they 'aw' and shaking their 'we love Marzia and Dixie Honey!' banners at them.

Following the twins is the lovers from four. Marina Shore is wearing a dress that comes down to her knees. It is a dark blue at the top but fades into a light blue/white at the bottom. Tangled into her hair she has small fishes and seaweed, it is also damp giving the illusion she has just had a swim. Kai Wyatt looks very handsome in his dark blue shorts. He has no top on, showing off his muscles. His hair is also attractively damp. They hold hands and smile at the crowd, occasionally blowing kisses. The crowd catches the kisses eagerly and throws them flowers.

Then the mother and daughter from district five roll in. They are wearing what looks like a simple silver suit. Until all of a sudden sparks of lightning fizzle out of the sides making them burst to life. The mother and daughter, Nia and Jasmine Rhymer hold hands and smile to the crowd as they are praised by the audience.

After Nia and Jasmine from district five, come Paige Aldon and Jace Minkley from district six! Paige is wearing a white dress that streams out behind her, her white blonde hair blends into the dress. She looks like an angel from heaven. Jace is wearing a matching white suit which flows out behind him just as gracefully. His jet black hair and evil smirk does not make him look like an angel. The crowd cheers for Paige, however there is no cheering for Jace. This makes him frown even more.

Next comes Oak Bailey and Rowanna Maple from district seven. They are wearing what seems like nothing, apart from elegantly vines weaved around their body. Every second new bright pastel colored flowers bloomed from the leaves on the vine. Oak smiles and at waved at the crowd merrily, as a few people cheer for him. Rowanna has ripped off part of the costume, unleashing tanned muscly skin. Instead of the crowd looking horrified, they cheer for her as Rowanna bares her sharp teeth and hisses like a wild woman.

Following district seven is district eight. Both Gaze Meadow and Skye Bloomer are wearing what looks like over sized quilts. However when they come into a closer view, they are indeed wearing large quilts, but they fall gracefully over their knees. The mix of bright colors sewn together make them very noticeable. The crowd cheers for them, tossing all sorts of flowers at the pair from district eight.

After the colourful tributes from district eight, come Freya and Dylan from district nine. The crowd silences as they see the horrifying outfits the duo are wearing. Both of them are wearing a cream skin-tight suit, with bits of grain and other debris stuck onto it. It looks truly horrible. Panem look at Dylan and Freya with disgust. The poor pair are unlikely to get any sponsors.

Then Thalia Miracle and Josie Whistle from district ten roll in. Thalia and Josie are wearing green pants and old shirt; obviously meant to be farmer attire. Their arms and legs are a dark shade of tan and in their hands they hold a lasso. They swish it around, with big grins on their faces. Their plaited pig tails swish around under their farmers hat. The crowd screams for them and chant their names.

Next is Heather Berry and Fern Frost from district eleven. The pair are dressed in dress dungarees, with link flower patterns stitched all over them. On top if both their heads are flower crowns, their dances are inked with flowers as well. It almost seems as if they are lying in a bed of flowers. The crowd seems to love them and showers them with even more flowers.

Finally Lucas Harper and Ashton Gray from district twelve arrive. The two boys are dressed in white suits, sprinkled with coal dust. They look like they have been sprayed with mud and do not get much attention from the wild crowd. However they still have a few flowers and kisses blown over in their direction.

The tributes trot around a few times and then trail slowly out of the arena, lead by their gracious horses. The crowd dies down as the tributes bid them goodbye. The last few flowers are thrown and until the tributes finally depart.
