Fight Or Flight

If you don't have anxiety

When you see danger your body goes into fight or flight mode

If you have anxiety

And you see danger your body doesn't know how to react

Most times you're not even in danger

You just start to overthink until you have a panic attack

Instead of going into fight or flight your body goes into panic mode

Your body starts to tense

You start to hyperventilate

You can't think straight

All you can think about is

Am I dying?

You can't slow down your breathing

Tears start filling your eyes

You're terrified at first because you don't know what's happening

But then you remember it's just a panic attack

You try to remember what they taught you to do in this situation but you can't remember

Eventually the panic attack is over

You think to yourself

Why can't I be normal?
