Mirror
I see this girl in the mirror
I smile at her
She smiles back
I look into her eyes
I can see the pain she hides behind them
All the emotions she bottles up
The secrets she hides
I can tell she is looking for an escape
I reach out to her hoping she will grab my hand
But as I reach out my hand
She slips into the darkness
In that moment I realize
Mirrors are deceiving
The girl in the mirror
Is me
