jieun stepped out of the school campus with a sigh.

it had been another long day, and all she wanted was to plop on her bed and sleep her troubles away.

"j-jieun!"

she turned around upon hearing her name be called. "oh, soyeon," she said, watching the girl run towards her.

soyeon was jieun's classmate that sat behind her. she had forced her way into jieun's life in a positive way. jieun wasn't sure she would ever be comfortable with making new friends, but soyeon seemed to gravitate to her, and now she was stuck like a magnet.

"i'm so glad i caught you before you left," she panted.

jieun smiled. "did you need anything?"

"yeah! i was wondering if you could do me a teensy, weensy favor?" she said, batting her eyelashes.

jieun mentally sighed. "what is it?"

"can you come by and help volunteer at the bakery i work at this saturday? we're having a special event and we need a lot more help to cater." she sensed jieun's reluctance and pleaded, "i'll buy you lunch the whole week!"

jieun giggled. "okay, just text me the rest of he details later."

"i knew i could count on you! thank you so much eunnie!" soyeon said, hugging jieun.

jieun flinched.
