jieun sighed after her last afternoon class ended.

it had been a long day-- jieun couldn't pinpoint exactly why she was so exhausted, but all she knew was that she wanted a nap as soon as possible, but that wouldn't happen until she got off work later tonight.

"jieunnie!" soyeon said, walking up to her desk. "i gotta go turn in an assignment to prof. kim, so head on to work without me!" she said, winking at her. "good luck!"

jieun nodded while gathering her things. "see you later, then."

she walked to the school exit, and yawned.

only a few more hours, jieun. you can do this.

she was awoken from her thoughts with a single, loud car honk.

her head snapped towards the direction of the sound with shock, but soon let out a breath of relief.

"jieun-ah!" jaebum said, motioning her to walk over to his car.

"what are you doing here?" she asked, approaching his black vehicle.

"soyeon told me you needed a break today."

"what do you mean?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.

"get in the car and you'll find out." he said, smiling as he tapped the roof of his car.

jieun shrugged and got into the passenger seat, but not before reading the message on her phone.

soyeon: you need this and you know it don't hate me pls ily
soyeon: view it as a chance to get your mind of your ex! (: there's plenty of fish in the sea and you, my friend, are in the car of the gentle giant orca

jieun smiled, looking over to jaebum who was checking the traffic behind his left shoulder before pulling out of the curb, his elongated neck muscles making jieun blush.

she smiled sadly, knowing perfectly clear that had a preference for bunny rabbits.
