The Tunnel
Overhead the tunnel is damp,
Water trickles through your hair,
In the shadows lurks a man,
Who sleeps on a floor which is bare,
On the wall there is a mosaic,
Graffiti filling in the gaps,
The smell is highly unpleasant,
The gutters are filled with mousetraps,
Up ahead on the floor is a door panel,
Out the other end,
A businessman wonders,
What next time awaits,
In The Tunnel.
