Jordan's P.O.V.
As we where walking, Carl began asking questions
"Are you bit too?"
"No... I'm not bit."
"where there walkers? Because I didn't see any on the ground." Carl kept asking questions. Rick stopped Carl, and was about to explain something to him. We all heard growls and looked over our shoulders, behind us was a huge herd of walkers, unlike anything I have ever seen before. We quickly made our way to the barn and closed the door.
Rick began to pour gasoline on the barn floor as I fished a lighter out of my pocket. I helped carl up into the loft and followed quickly behind. I handed carl the lighter with an intricate desighn, and said,
"When I tell you too, I need you to drop this lighter onto the barn floor." He stared at me wide eyed, "Do you understand me!" He nodded his head rapidly and I released his arms. I looked down as rick opened the barn doors, and led the walkers in, He reached the ladder as I helped him up and yelled, "Now!" in Carl's directions. Carl dropped the fancy lighter, and the whole barn lit up in beautiful orange and yellow flames.
We went over to the opening in the loft where Dale's R.V. was waiting For us climb off. Rick Climbed off first and Helped me and Carl to get off without being grabbed by walkers. I heard a shrill scream come from inside the R.V. and saw walkers climbing in, blood splattering on the windshield.
We began running through the field, killing walkers along the way, as we came up to Hershel who was shooting his shotgun. A walker came up behind him and Rick shot it, which caught Hershel's attention. We tried getting Hershel to leave but he began rambling about how he will die on this farm. That is when I grabbed Hershel's arm and began dragging him to the car with Rick and Carl close behind.
Hershel finally gave in and got into the red truck. Rick began to quickly drive off of the farm, ad back towards the highway where they apparently lost a little girl. We where probably at the highway for a good two hours. Rick and Hershel didn't have ammo to take on the walkers, and carl didn't want to let go of my waist, so we where practically hiding in, and around the truck.
"We can't be out here much longer!" I heard Hershel say, "You're bot can't take much more of this!"
"So, what do I do!?" Rick exasperatedly replied.
"Take your boy and Jordan, and get out of here." Hershel replies solemnly, "I know a few places we could meet up, but I have to wait for my girls," Rick looked like he was going to reply, but he was cut off by Daryl's Motorcycle and a small green car, covered in walker blood and guts. Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, and Carol where now here with us.
Carl was slowly falling asleep while we hugged in the back seat of the truck, I was fine with hum sleeping and I let hum cuddle me until I saw a blue truck that was also covered in walker guts. I watched who got out of it, first T-Dog, then Beth, and lastly, Lori. I woke carl up and we got out of the truck. As soon as he saw Lori he sprinted at her and jumped into his arms.
I smiled at Carl and Lori as I was attacked in a hug by Glenn, and Maggie who had left Hershel's arms.
"What the hell happened!" Maggie practically screamed after both her, and Glenn released me from the hug.
"Carl found our old treehouse, He didn't know it was mine and he wanted to show it to me," I replied with furrowed eyebrows, Everyone sighed in relief, "What did you think happened?"
"Shane came back with a broken nose and said that you tried killing him, and that you kidnaped carl." Daryl said. Wow. That was the first, somewhat, kind sentence that has come out of Daryl's moth that was aimed toward me.
After our little conversation we decided to take two of the cars. Both cars ended up being full, and that meant that I had to ride with Daryl on his motorcycle. After a while of driving, Rick's car horn honked and the whole caravan stopped.
Everyone started debating about getting gas, and what we where going to do. I honestly didn't pay any attention to the conversation until I heard carl say that he was cold.
"We'll build a fire, Yeah?" Lori directed at Rick, as she tried to warm Carl up by rubbing his arms and chest. I took off my black leather jacket and gave it to carl. Lori nodded at me in appreciation.
"We should probably start setting up camp if we want to have it done before the sun sets." I said to the whole group. they nodded and everyone got to work, to make sure we're safe at our camp for tonight.
#*#*#*#*#*#*
As we where sitting at the fire, no one talking, we al heard a snap coming from the direction of the farm. everyone began to freak out and question Rick's leadership skills. I decided to stay out of the conversation because carl was hugging me in fear of what was out there. all of a sudden rick looked at all of us and began a speech, he talked about how he killed his best friend for us, and how this isn't a democracy anymore.
All I could think of when he said, "Not a democracy". is 'No sir, it is a RICKtatorship'. I quietly snorted at my own joke. I then looked down to notice that I was subcotiencely running my hands through Carl's hair, as his soft snores calmed me. when I looked back at the group of people around me, I noticed that they weren't talking anymore, instead they where looking at me as my hand kept running through Carl's hair.
"Hmm," I hummed to them as I thought about Katy.
