Jordan's P.O.V

It had been about two months since the farm burnt down. Lori is advancing in her pregnancy and you can see her baby bump. Rick is ignoring Lori like his life depends on it. Glenn and Maggie are practically connected at the hip, and they have shown enough PDA to last me a lifetime. Carl is practically my shadow, when I'm not hunting or going on runs. Hershel and Beth have been relatively quiet, but when they talk, it is always positive. T-Dog has become a huge part of the group, he is a strong man who would protect this group no matter what. Carol has become less timid, now that I think about it she is a true badass. Then there's Daryl, the group asshole who only keep's to himself. Speaking of Daryl, I'm going on a run with him right now.

"Jordan," speak of the devil, Daryl parked the car next to the town sign.

"Let's get this party started, Dixon." I told the Asshole himself with a bored tone.

He didn't reply, instead he put his weapon up and began walking toward the drug store. I followed with a sigh.

We each had two bags, one for the group, and one for our own personal needs. Daryl never gets anything for himself unless it is bolts for his crossbow. I, on the other hand, get stuff for myself all the time. such as inhalers(for my asthma that no one knows about except Maggie), Condoms(for Maggie and Glenn), candy and gum(for Carl and I to share), and vitamins(for Lori, to help with the baby).

the first thing I did was find the inhalers and vitamins for Lori, I stuffed all that was left into my personal bag. as soon as I was done I walked around the store grabbing the essential stuff that we would need for the first aid kits that Hershel and I had. I looked up from what I was doing and looked at Daryl, who was grabbing all of the medicine that he saw.

He must have sensed my stare on his back, because he turned around and stared at me.

"What do you want, woman." he grumbled at me.

"Why are you such an asshole?" I asked him with no emotion

"To keep spoiled bitches like you away." he responded, glaring a hole in my head.

I only scoffed and went back to my search for supplies. as soon as I was sure that there was nothing else that I needed for the whole group, I began my search for personal items. I first walked to the section where I could find the condoms, I immediately found six boxes, but I only took two.

I was in between two shelves, when I grabbed the box. I leaned toward the shelf that had the condoms, but when I got close to it, a hand reached through the shelf trying to grab me. I jumped back in surprise, dropping my bags in the process. my back hit the tall unstable shelf and it began to fall so I jumped out of the way as fast as I could.

I didn't jump away quick enough and my ankle ended up being caught under the shelf. I cried out in pain as I heard the crack of my ankle. soon enough I heard footsteps coming my direction, I looked up to see a worried Daryl. I smiled sheepishly at him as he grunted in reply. He immediately tried getting the shelf off my leg as soon as we heard the walker groans.

I looked toward the dirty glass doors and I saw something that I never ever wanted to see. it was Katy. she was a walker, her sickly pale skin seemed to shine in the light. Her once bright eyes had a layer of disgusting yellow. As Daryl freed my leg, my breathing began to get faster and my airways closed up. I knew what was happening,

I was having an asthma attack.

suddenly Daryl was in front of me, asking what was wrong, he was mere inches away from my face, but it seemed like he was miles away. I realized that I lost my bags when the shelves fell and I was looking around frantically, holding my throat. suddenly there where warm calloused hands on my face causing my head to stop moving. I looked into his deep Georgia blue eyes as he asked me what was wrong.

"a-as... a-at... I-in..." I stuttered out trying to get words out, but it was all mumbles.

"What do you need? what's happening?" he asked me frantically.

I mustered up all the strength that I could through my blurry vision that black spots where beginning to invade. I finally said, "Asthma... Bags."

"Shit," I heard him mumble quietly, "What bags? where?" I could just barely see him as the black spots continued to spread like a disease. I finally pointed to the spot where I dropped the bags.

He immediately stood up and rushed to the bags and began searching through my personal bag. he took everything out of it as he madly searched it. once he found my small red inhaler, he rushed back and put it into my shaky hands.

I used the rest of my strength to put the inhaler to my lips and miraculously get my breath back with the help of a small tool the size of my fist. my breathing slowed to it's regular pace.

I looked up at Daryl to see he was giving me a sad look. that's weird, Daryl doesn't have a look other than 'pissed asshole'.

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" His voice sounded weird, it sounded... soft and caring.

"I don't want you guys to treat me differently, its bad enough that I'm a girl ." he stared at me intently.

"Why would you think that we would treat you differently." his voice was still soft.

"I would just be a burden to you guys if you had to worry about getting my medicine."

"You would never be a burden to us." he told me with a new emotion in his eyes, one that I couldn't make out.
