Your POV
I'm staring at the ceiling. Someone was poking me. I looked to my side. It's that weird boy whose always happy.
Why? I personally don't know. I sighed. I can't avoid him, can I? For some reason, he keeps on bothering me.
"What do you want, Vylad?"
"I was just wondering if you'll play with me. No one else wants to."
To be honest, I wasn't surprised. The other kids here at the orphanage doesn't like this kid. His too happy and cheerful, they all say.
I agreed with them. How does one stay happy and cheerful in their darkest moments? That's beyond me. Maybe I'll ask him how he does it.
"Sure. What we playing?"
He was holding an iPad. Why didn't I see him holding that? He turned it on and opened a game that's called 'Fruit Ninja'.
I smiled. This is my favourite game. And so, we started playing.
I guess I should introduce myself at the start, right? I'm Y/N. I'm 7 years old. My mom left me here because she couldn't care less about me.
You see, she thinks I was a mistake. She wasn't expecting to get pregnant from what she calls a hangover. I don't know what that means, seeing I'm 7 and all. She wanted to do an abortion but she didn't have the money for it.
My dad, I don't know what happened to him. To be honest, I don't think I know him.
I've been in here since I was 2. Making this my 5th year. I get along with everyone, excluding Vylad and the bullies. I'm trying my best to try befriending him but it's not helping that he keeps on bothering me.
