Chapter 11

Your POV

I was taken aback.

"Travis?!"
"Heeyy...Y/N. Nice to see you here."

He replies, scratching his head.

"Nice seeing you too. I gotta go. Bye."

I stated. I continued my journey. Faster this time. I didn't want anyone to follow me. I turned around for a brief second. No one is following me. Perfect.

I was now at the park. I sprinted to the bridge. I went underneath it.

"Luckily the Shadow Knights isn't here."

I murmured to myself.

"Ouch. That hurts so much."

A voice said. I looked at where the voice came from.

Fuck. It's Gene, leader of the Shadow Knights. Without Sasha or Zenix.

"What do you want, Gene?"

I questioned.

"I don't want anything, really. We just happen to have the same comfort place."

He answers. I looked at him. He was sitting next to me.

"Running from your problems?"
"Not really. Just running from my Mom nagging at me."

He replies. I laughed. Of course his mother nags! He does hang out in a bad crowd.

"Why you here?"

He asks. Should I tell him? He did answer my question.

"I won't tell a living soul. Besides, who would I want to tell? Sasha and Zenix are out on a date...I think."

He assures me. I sighed deeply.

"My dad. His home."

Gene looked at me, confused.

"What's wrong with that?"
"He told me things I didn't want to hear. Makes me mad about that."

I answered. Gene kept pestering me about that. I just ignored it.

"Hey! Answer my fucking question!"

He snapped. I stared at him with my dead cold eyes. He was taken aback.

"Was it that bad?"

He asks. Judging by his tone, he should be feeling frightened. I nodded.

"Don't ask me anything else regarding that."

I told him. Gene and I heard a voice. Gene got startled. I, however, remained unfazed. I guess I reached the point where I don't give a fuck anymore.

"Y/N? Gene?!"

The voice spoke. Gene and I looked where the voice was. Vylad.

"Go away, Vylad."
"What's going on here?"
"Go away, Vylad."
"Gene? What's happening?"

Vylad didn't seem to notice me talking. That was to be expected. I was saying it softly.

"Vylad. Y/N and I were jus--"

I stopped Gene mid sentence. Gene looked at me, shocked. Vylad on the other hand was concerned.

"Vylad. Go home."
"B-But."
"No buts! Go! Now! "

I felt bad snapping at him. It hurts. I didn't want anyone to get involved in whatever happened between my father and I.

Vylad stood still, facing the ground. He opened his mouth. But before he could mutter anything, I stood up and walked away.

I don't want to see anyone else. Not a single living soul.

Once I was no longer underneath the bridge, I ran. Ran away from everyone. To where? I honestly don't know nor do I care. I just don't want to be around anyone. I want to be alone.
