Chapter 14

~ 1 Year Later ~

Your POV

"See ya at school tomorrow!"

I whispered, while kissing Vylad's cheek.

"You too!"

He replied. I waved at him. Soon, he disappeared from my sight.

I smiled while entering my house. I saw my Mom looking at the window near the door.

"Aww! My little (nickname) has a boyfriend~"

Mom teased. I laughed.

"There's McDonald's in the kitchen counter. And your dad is in the office."

I nodded in acknowledgement.

Dad's in the office. Hopefully he doesn't change again.

I decided to check on my Dad before having dinner, even though I just had dinner. I guess this is supper.

I knocked at the door. A voice asked me to enter, presumably my Dad's.

"Hey dad! I'm baack?"

I greeted, only to be stopped by the sight of two people. Garte and Zianna.

"Garte! Zianna! It's so nice to see you, even though I saw you yesterday!"

I went up to them and hugged them. They, of course, returned the hug.

I waved them goodbye. I wasn't really hungry anymore. Well, at least I won't able to have a bloated stomach tonight. I went to my room.

Once inside, I closed the door and grabbed my journal/diary. Why am I doing this? You most likely want to know what happened before the time skip and after what happened between Dad and I. Correct?

Even if I'm wrong, I'll still fill you in. Let me read you one of my entries.

~ Journal/Diary Entry ~

After what happened between Dad and I, he managed to change himself. It took a few months but luckily it didn't take a full 365 days.

Here's an overview of all my relationships.

Vylad and I had gotten very close since that day. Like very close. We went on a couple of dates. On one date, Vylad forgot that he had asked me out and slept in. Hahahaha! I had to go and wake him up and we had an anime night together.

I can't really blame him though, I only forgot and accidentally slept in on a date like what 5 times? Hahahaha! It was amazing. We're not really official...yet. We just want to, you know, try it out. It's awkward, yes but we're willing to take a risk. You can't live life on the safe side always.

Enough of that, let's talk friends. So, Laurance and Dante are now my friends. I found them really annoying, Laurance for his flirting and Dante for being a player.

Aphmau invited me for a sleepover. There, she introduced me to her friends. They were Teony, Lucinda, Nicole, Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan. Nicole and KC are in my homeroom but I didn't talk to anyone, before Vylad showed up.

Aaron, one of the scariest student, became friends with me. It's really cool how he and Aph are friends but they didn't know that.

Zane and I are good friends, 'best friends' he says. Guy is odd. But that's just his personality. Can't change that. He and I often play games and discuss about My Little Horsie.

The Shadow Knights are on a okay scale of mine. Not good, bad but okay. Their average. They skip a lot which I don't like but I can sort of understand the reason why.

Now to my family! As I mentioned earlier, Dad managed to change himself. Of course, Mom and I supported and encouraged him.

Apparently Aphmau is one of my childhood friends, yeah. Her family, mine and Vylad's are really close friends. It took a while for me to get it but I managed. We have our family dinners every now and than. Oh, Katelyn's family sometimes. They only come when Aph's Mom is hosting.

Now that I filled you in with whatever happened, you won't be confused. I yawned.

Nooo, I don't wanna sleep...yet.

I reached for my phone. Seems like I got messages. I checked it, it was from Zane. He asks if we could video chat. I texted back, agreeing.

Zane and I are video chatting. We were talking about things.

"Y/N? Are you sleepy?"

He suddenly asks. I shook my head.

"Mmhmm. Your in denial. Your nodding off, you know."

He replied.

"Whaat? Noooo. I'm fiinee! Doont worrry abbooutt mee."

I respond, sounding like a drunken person.

"You either are intoxicated or reeeaaally tired."

Zane says, looking at me intently.

"You should go sleep. There's school tomorrow."

He continues. I nodded, without me knowing. He logged off and so did I. I changed into my pyjamas and went to sleep.
